Lovely quiet area right there in walking distance in town but not noisy. At present (early March 2020) gardens are very dry due to drought conditions but well kept and conducive for those sad memories...
A nice place to reflect on those soldiers who went to war to make the world better. Some never returning, so important never to forget about those times and what NZ’s young men did for their country
Excellent place to go for a walk with dog and for families and couples. Duck pond in the middle of park and plenty of seating and picnic tables available.

Dog walk and Families
Excellent place to go for a walk with dog and for families and couples. Duck pond in the middle of park and plenty of seating and picnic tables available.

this place is always well kept and is a very nice place to go for an afternoon relax.or a good place to hang out if you are waiting for a bus
