    A small but exquisite collection

The museum is really a small exhibition of items related to cosmetics, specifically beni, a red lip colour traditionally used in Japan. It is a well-displayed collection however, with some absolutely...

    No way .....

    Original Text

It is a museum that deals with Isehan (Kiss Me) Beni, which is just before the antique street hits the Takagicho intersection. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from Omotesando Station. I had about 40 minutes, so I went in with a light feeling. Then, although it was small, I was able to enjoy the exhibition of the history of Beni and makeup tools from the Edo period. In this location, such a museum is free of charge, which is a sign of Mr. Ise Han's strong enthusiasm to know Red ...

    It's nice to be small.

It is 7 or 8 minutes by taxi from Omotesando Station. 1 The exhibition on the floor makes me think that there is a history of red, and although it is not big, it will be a learning experience. The special exhibition in the basement was dyed red plates. It was wonderful to see the beautifully dyed colors, and I thought it was important to inherit culture. The safflower tea was also delicious.

    It's worth a look.

It is the only museum of red maker that remains in Japan. I often heard of red flowers, but I only knew about edible oil, and for the first time I learned that it was the original lipstick that has been around since the Edo period. There is a charge for special exhibitions, but you can enjoy it even at free permanent exhibitions!

    Red の History!

    Original Text

A small museum behind the Nezu Museum, near Roppongi Street, on the outskirts of Antique Street! It is operated by Isehan, who is famous for kiss me! (It seems to be a company that has been around since the Edo period ...) You can learn about the history of "Beni" here! When I took my foreign friends, I was very impressed! Take the Miyako Bus Line 01 from Shibuya, It's as soon as you get off at Minami Aoyama 7-chome!
