Original Text
I stopped by when I took a leisurely tour of the temples from Yotsuya to Shinano Town. Even though it was Tokyo, this area was surprisingly undulating and became a good exercise. It was located near Wakaba Park, and there were many small temples around. I didn't feel any tourist elements.
It is a temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshinji school in Yotsuya, a town with many slopes and temples. A narrow slope (currently descending to Wakaba Park) that descends south between Shokoji Temple and Eishinji Temple is called "Yamizaka". It is said that it was called this because the trees of Shogonji Temple and Eishinji Temple were growing and it was a dim slope. The gate was closed and the general public did not seem to be able to enter the precincts. There didn't seem to be anything special.
It is a small temple located a short walk from Yotsuya Sanchome Station. There are many temples around here. I went on a holiday, but the gate was closed and I couldn't go inside. From the gate, there was no explanation board such as history as far as I could see.
It is a temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshinji school in Suka-cho, Shinjuku-ku, and is called Mt. Unryu. There is a dark slope nearby. It is derived from the fact that it used to be dimly shielded by the trees of the temple.
