I have crossed the bridge many times since decades, but this is the first time I have passed here by boat. From the Nihonbashi River to the Kanda River and the Sumida River, I took a pleasure boat. A bridge was built around here during the Kanei era. It was named Shohei Bridge after Shohei Tsubo, which was later built nearby. The current bridge was built in 1923, just before the great earthquake. It is said that there was little damage in the earthquake.
This is a bridge over the Kanda River (upstream of Mansei Bridge) on Sotobori-dori, and there is a pedestrian bridge (humanitarian bridge) on the upstream and downstream sides. At the foot of the bridge was a heavy stone mold.
It is one of the bridges over the Kanda River, but it was a positional relationship looking up at the Sobu Line above. It's a wide road bridge, but it's a short bridge, and as long as I passed by car, the impression of the bridge remained painful. It was characterized by a solidly installed parent pillar.
It is a bridge over the Kanda River, the entrance to Akihabara. It is a reinforced concrete arched bridge that was rebuilt in the Taisho era and is now the basis. The stone balustrade is wonderful.
It is located just in the middle between Akihabara and Ochanomizu, and Sotobori-dori crosses the Kanda River. It was the first bridge built in the Edo period, but the large parent pillars were impressive.
