The twin towers are located on the Tugang in the east of Ranjia Village, Huangdian Town, Zhongmu County, and have a history of more than 1,000 years. It was once a temple called Shousheng Temple, also known as the Shuangta Temple. As the years passed, the temple towers were continuously eroded and damaged for various reasons. In the late Northern Song Dynasty, the temple tower was rebuilt, and the temple was destroyed, leaving only the twin towers.
Follow the 107 National Road to the south to the intersection of Shuangtagang and five kilometers to the east. No tickets. Typical Song Pagoda style, the seven-story east Pagoda is heavy, decorated with Buddha statues and rich brick carvings, the four-story west Pagoda is relatively simple, and the top of the tower is flat. It is rumored that the tower was abandoned halfway through the war, and the longest unfinished building in history. There are ramps in both towers. The perimeter of the bottom floor of the West Tower is slightly longer, and the corners of each tower are slightly curved. The East Tower Gate faces east, the West Tower Gate faces west, and the windows of the twin towers are relatively visible. The specific reason has been forgotten in the long history.
