Soulful music, soulless venue
The live music itself was terrific and the food was good; however, manage your expectations because even though this is an iconic place, they hire a third party to run their shows. It's clear that they're all about the $ and not the arts, because the musicians onstage ask for tips even though you paid $65 for a ticket and its one of the classiest-looking stages you've ever seen. If there is an act you really want to see, by all means go--but as a rando place for something to do, you're giving your money to what is clearly a super corporate machine that obviously doesn't pay the musicians what they're worth.
