📍Attraction: Goose Ridge Park, formerly known as Liyuan, also known as Yiyuan, is located on Goose Ridge Street in Yuzhong District, Chongqing City. It was established in the first year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty (1909) and is 4.3 kilometers away from the center of Chongqing City. Tickets: Free Transportation: Take Metro Line 1 to Goose Ridge Metro Station and walk about 360 meters from Exit 2A to get there. Features: Goose Ridge Park was a private garden built by Li Zhanyang, a wealthy businessman in Chongqing in the late Qing Dynasty, for his father Li Yaoting. In 1958, it was officially named Goose Ridge Park and opened to the public. The main attractions in the park include Rope Bridge, Art Garden, Kansheng Tower, Hiroshima Garden, Tongxuan, Martyrs' Tomb, Three Friends Pavilion, Sunset Pavilion, Lotus Pond Corridor, etc. There are many precious ornamental plants in the park, among which there are 42 ancient and famous trees. In addition, there are also Western-style bungalow brick-wood structures such as the Goose Ridge Park Management Office, the former sites of the Australian and Turkish embassies. One of the iconic attractions in the park is the Stone Rope Bridge, which is S-shaped.
