Guangzhou Guanyinshan National Forest Park is located in Zhangmutou Town, Dongguan. In December 2000, the Dongguan Municipal Government approved the establishment of Guanyinshan Forest Park. After five years of development, it was officially named as Guangdong Guanyinshan National Forest Park by the State Forestry Administration in December 2005, thus becoming the first private national-level forest park in China. With a total area of 18 square kilometers and a forest coverage rate of over 99%, the park is a national-level AAAA tourist attraction integrating ecological sightseeing, entertainment, fitness and religious culture. It is known as South Heaven Holy Land and Baiyue Secretland.
