Yangbao Mountain is 10 miles north of the county seat. It is called "The Victory of Eastern Guizhou" in literature. It is a very surprising attraction. Yangbao Mountain is located in Guiding County, 50 kilometers east of Guiyang City, less than three kilometers north of the county seat. It takes less than ten minutes to drive from Guiding North Station of the Lukun High-speed Railway. The traffic is very convenient. The scenic spot is very large, there are lanes and pedestrian lanes up the mountain, the traffic lanes take about 30 minutes, and the walking trail may take three or four hours. The altitude difference from the foot mountain gate to the top of the mountain is 570 meters, which is very tall. The scenery is beautiful and it is the highest peak within tens of kilometers. The top of the mountain is the Lotus Temple. The old Lotus Temple was built during the Longqing period of the Ming Dynasty and was destroyed during the Qing Tongzhi period. Now it has left a broken wall on the top of the mountain, full of green grass and plants, which is very historical and desolate. And the new Lotus Temple, 50 meters below the Lotus Temple site, is very spectacular. There is a very large viewing platform in front of the temple, which can see the beautiful scenery of the entire Guiding County and Guiding Valley. Now it only costs 20 yuan to drive into the scenic spot, which is definitely a great value for money attraction.
There is Shaolin Temple in the north and Yangbao Mountain in the south. The most distinctive is the monk's tomb tower, which is of different shapes, octagonal, round, etc. You can walk up the mountain or take a car. The top of the mountain can see the sea of clouds, sunrise and sunset. The key Bodhisattva is very spiritual.
