Photos of Bird Island of Qinghai Lake

Bird Island of Qinghai Lake is west of Qinghai Lake around Huanhuxi Road. It consists of two islands. The large one is called Haixipi and the small one is called Haixishan. They are the key scenic spots for viewing Qinghai Lake. Haixipi Island is a large, densely planted island with many cormorant nests on the eastern rock wall, like a castle of bird nests. Haixishan is full of eggs during the spawning season, so it is also known as Egg Island.
