Goryokaku Park is located within Goryokaku. Goryokaku is a star-shaped fortress castle built in the Edo period. It was built in Western architecture. Cherry Blossom Viewing Resort Park is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Hokkaido, with cherry trees planted all over it. There is now a Hakodate School in the Hakodate Fusho Park, which collects weapons used in the war, blood-stained samurai uniforms, and restored models of many buildings. The shape of the five-pointed star is clearly visible, and the streetscape of Hakodate can be seen from afar. Dream of the Five-Edged Star Every winter, a night-lighting event called "Dream of the Five-Edged Star" is held here. The frozen moat is covered with white snow, and the star-shaped pattern in the park is clearer and more beautiful. The walk is very romantic.
