The Jiayuguan Pass is located in the northwest of Gansu Provinxe, and was a key hub for traffic passing along the Silk Road. Apart from the wall itself, which is part of the Great Wall, there are a few historical artefacts you can view!
We spent an afternoon walking along the wall, and it was so interesting to be able to walk along a part of the Great Wall that was not in Beijing!
