Dalong Temple

The Dalong Temple (also known as Talin Qude Temple) in Shannan City was built during the Songzan Ganbu period in Tubu, and was built in the same period as the Jokhang Temple. It is said that after Princess Wencheng entered Tibet, more than a dozen monasteries were built one after another. The Jokhang Temple is one of them, and the Dalong Temple is also the same. At that time, Dalong Temple had no door and no school, and the scale was smaller than it is now, but it is said that Songzan Ganbu had come here to rest. By the eleventh century, a high monk from the Tibetan Buddhist Suju sect, Dalongtangba, came here, repaired and expanded the ancient Dalong Temple, and officially designated the temple as "Dalong Temple". He has since passed the teaching law in Dalong Temple and developed Dalong Temple into the ancestral temple of Dalong Ju-re.

Many times, Tibetan customs in the townships in Tibetan areas feel stronger, and they can easily be close to their unique Tibetan life. Dalong's Tibetan language means "huxiang", and there are many interesting stories about the origin of the name of Dalong Town. The full name of Dalong Temple is "Auspicious Yang Zhuo Dalong Darin Qude Temple", I heard Tibetan friends read the full name from the mouth, I felt very good, I really like it.

The village ahead is called Dalong Town, a place I have not heard of. A sign on the roadside: Dalong Temple. The temple is a thousand-year-old temple built in Songzan Ganbu. Looking in the direction of the arrow, the temple on the golden roof was built at the foot of the mountain, and the stone wall behind the temple painted three striking Buddha statues, and then the sight was moved upward with the mountain, a deserted building full of edges and corners stood quietly on the top of the mountain, and the mountain was integrated.
