<p>Yaoshan Scenic Area is located at the eastern end of the Funiu Mountains. An ancestor of the legendary Emperor Yao called Liu Lei is believed to have built an ancestral temple here. The area is known for its unusual rock formations, waterfalls, lush green forest, and natural springs. It is particularly beautiful in fall. Visitors can climb to the summit or take a cable car for a breathtaking view over the surrounding area. The summit often rises above a spectacular sea of clouds.</p>
