Miyagi Prefecture Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Matsushima Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
One of most three beautiful bay in 🇯🇵!!
Welcome to Miyagi!! Miyagi is one of unforgettable beautiful place in Japan . Delicious and fresh local food , beautiful costal towns and less tourists make it for me to choose Miyagi to be one of my destinations in Japan . I base in Sendai for those small town day trips to explore the sites .
Today , I made it happened to visit Matsushima. Just 40 mins JR train ride from Sendai .
As usual, I am the early riser,I reach to Matsushima station before the first sightseeing cruise , get ticket near the train station -1000¥ ( ps: if you buy in ferry terminal- 1500¥) . And walk about 7 mins to ferry terminal and start off my day .
Matsushima bay is famous along with Miyajima and Amanohashidate. The bay is dotted by over 200 small islands covered by pine trees..
And also one of the most famous oyster farm ( oysters here are very fresh and cheap , just 100¥ per piece , that meant 1sgd 🤭) . The 🚢 one round took 50 mins and every hourly until 4 pm and If you miss the first cruise 🚢, you will have to Q and wait like 100 plus people pie up, coz all other people come around 10 am plus 😝😝.
From there , I continue to visit some beautiful temples and fukuura island where connected with long red bridge and a good and well designated hiking trail to pavilion to enjoy the whole Matsushima Bay panoramic view . Such a beautiful place to enjoy and relax yourself.
Then came back to main island and have my lunch before continue with others places .
Along the way , I visited Zinganji Temple before walk up to the hill park called Saigyō Modoshi no Matsu Park and enjoy the whole Matsushima bay before back to Sendai . If you are the person like me to prefer landscape and beautiful scenery rather than shopping centre , I would definitely recommend Matsushima as one of your next destinations in Japan . And also can be reach from Tokyo by 2 hours ( including Shinkansen one hours plus and additional 40 mins to Matsushima. Hope you all enjoy !! See you all on the other side of the world 🌎!!

Songdo Beach
#mynovgetaway#awesomepic#couplestrip#instagramworthydestinations
There are many places in Sendai that are natural and quaint. The most famous is Songdo, one of the three scenic spots in Japan. Songdo is not a separate island, but a general term for an island group of 260 large and small islands scattered in the central part of Miyagi Prefecture, along the Songdo Bay coast and Songdo Bay. On one side of the rock, red pine and black pine are interlaced, and dense vegetation covers the island and is a self-contained scene.
You can take a one-hour sea tour on the island of Matsushima, and the sea is awesome. Its very interesting. The attractions of Songdo are intensive. In addition to the natural landscape, the history of the Idas family is also very clear. The five halls are the symbol of Songdo. This wooden temple was built with the five kings. Named after the statue, it has been listed as a national key cultural relic. The temple is connected to a red edge bridge that extends to the beach.
The Ruiyan Temple in Songdo is the first place in the Tohoku region of Japan, full of deep Zen. The temple is dotted with solemn Dajialan, and its luxurious paintings and carvings of the Tang slab door and railings, partitions and niches are also very beautiful.
You can also stay in Songdo for one night. Our stay at the Songdo Spectacular Hot Spring Hotel is the largest resort hotel in the Songdo area. The rooms are divided into Japanese, Western, Japanese and Western styles. There are also Japanese-style banquet dishes, Western food and Chinese cuisine. The dishes are very rich. You can see the scenery of Songdo in the room~~
The island of Songdo is an island of Songdo. It is thought to be a Japanese style. I didnt expect that there was a rice inhabitant shrine on the island (a historic shrine can get a god level, now generally refers to Inari), seeing this bird house knows that there is a certain sense of time.
In addition to the shrine, the island itself is beautiful, whether it is a Japanese-style building or a sea view on the island, it is very good. Xiao Yan for a while, the scenery is good here.

Funaoka Castle Ruins Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Funaoka Joshi park!!
Funaoka Joshi park !! Funaoka Joshi Park is the only park in Miyagi Prefecture to be listed in the “Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Sites of Japan”. A small automated monorail runs through the tunnel of cherry blossoms. Funaoka Peace Kannon is situated at the top of the mountain, where visitors can also enjoy a magnificent view. Over 200,000 people flock to the park at the beginning of April for the infamous “Shibata Cherry Blossoms Festival”. But , when I went there yesterday, all cherry blossoms was over and some left over late blooms only left . But is famous for their sunset over the hill and panoramic view over Shibata prefecture, in Miyagi . There is no transportation between station and the park usually. But they have shuttle bus while cherry blossoms festival and now was over . So, I walk 15mins from Funaoka station to the park and walk up to the hill and use small monorail to go up and see the surrounding and walk down slowly before sunset because It was remote area and I don’t want to stay too late and I need to walk back to the station to catch the train to Sendai . If you are in this area in cherry blossoms season , make sure catch full blooms on this mountain to enjoy. See you all on the other side of the world 🌎!!

View of Sakura from the funicular
Funaoka Castle Park in Shibata is one of the hundred best places in Japan where you can admire the cherry blossoms. Climb the steep paths or take a ride on the old funicular. The cherry blossom envelops everything around like fog, and spectacular views open from the top.
How to get there
The park is a 15-minute walk from Funaoka Station on the Tohoku line. You can get there from Sendai Station (about 25 minutes).
Pink splendor
Sakura blooms here from the beginning to the end of April. At this time, the Sakura Festival is held in Shibata. You can bring picnic food with you, or you can buy festive bentos — they are sold at the foot of the mountain. Eat everything at once or go upstairs and try to find the perfect place to relax.
Stunning panoramic views open from the top, and the blue sky contrasts with the pink flowers around. On clear days, the top of Dzao Mountain is visible from here, covered with the last winter snow. In the distance is a 24—meter statue of the goddess of mercy Kannon. Climb the stairs inside the statue: the view from the observation windows is even better.
Cross the bridge over the funicular track and you will see an endless row of flowering trees. This is a famous landmark — a thousand sakura trees on the banks of the Siroishi River.
Miyagi's 'Hitome Senbon Sakura' stretches for 8 kilometers in full bloom

Shiboyan Shrine, located in Yanzao City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, is also one of the most important shrines in Miyagi Prefecture. It is also known as the first shrine of the Lu Olympics. It has been worshipped by the court and the people since ancient times. The
Salt Kitchen Shrine was built in 1704 by the fourth generation of the Sendai Ida Gang Village, and the fifth generation Idaji Village. Three main halls and two worship halls were built side by side. It is also rare in the country. At present, 14 buildings and stone houses (the former shrine of the shrine), such as the main hall, the worship hall, and the four-legged shrine, have been designated as important cultural heritages of Japan.
In addition, the "Salt Sakura" in the Shizuoka Shrine is also very famous. The flowering period is very beautiful in early May every year, and we are even more fortunate to meet the most beautiful winter cherry here.

Tomiyama Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Pure white world
take the train in the direction of Fushan to Wuyi Mountain, more and more snowflakes outside the window, more and more dense, the roofs of the two sides are covered with thick snow, trees in front of the house All dressed in silver, the pedestrians disappeared on the road, and they came to another world like Chihiro.
From the end of the city line, the station stood a bright red train. The snow stopped and the blue sky loomed. The snow road stepped on by the local people along the river step by step, and the snow was cleared. Has been deep into the calf position, it seems that the amount of snow here is no less than Hokkaido.
The mountains in the distance are covered with snow, and the mountains are surrounded by clouds, the best shooting spot!
In the Japanese countryside
There are also a lot of small shops that can be visited here in Toyama, Japan. Copper and tin products are very delicate. There are many hundred-year-old shops hidden in the alleys.
heard. . . Locals like it, do this action at the door of the store. After all, it is also stretching bones. . . . In fact, Toyama Park does not have a good shot, but as long as you pay attention, you can still find some special lines, and it is quite interesting to intercept small scenes with telephoto.
