Tangquan Palace Hot Spring Resort Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Hot Springs around Beijing|Tangquan Palace Hot Spring Resort
Zunhua Tangquan Palace Hot Spring, with a thousand-year heritage, still maintains a stable water temperature. The water is of an appropriate temperature and is a natural silicate spring. According to tests, it is one of the few therapeutic hot springs in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
Outdoors, there are mainly children's play areas and various types of small hot spring pools. There are 50 types of outdoor hot spring pools, built along the mountain. Every few steps, there is a small hot spring pool. The surrounding environment is great, very comfortable, quite elegant, and very private.
There are also many cute pets outdoors, such as rabbits, parrots, ducks, etc., all near the children's play area. It attracts many children to come and play, it is simply a paradise for children.
All indoor and outdoor hot spring pools have staff regularly checking the water temperature and making adjustments according to temperature changes to ensure that visitors have the best hot spring temperature experience. Various services are thoughtful and meticulous, the environment is clean, and security facilities are relatively complete.
Tickets: Pure hot spring tickets or hot spring + meal tickets
Parking: Free parking is recommended to drive to the top, which should be the closest to the lobby in Zone 5.

Everyone in the life is struggling to run. There are endless reasons for the unknown scenery in the distance to attract us to find out. I once crossed the mountains and the sea, and once crossed the no-man's land to find beautiful and magical devil cities. The beautiful scenery has given me great touch in the long journey. I love the infinite touch of nature when I am running, I love the quiet hot spring hotel time, and let me spend these beautiful and leisurely lazy days. . At this moment, let the pace slow down and come to Zunhua Tangquan Palace to enjoy a slow time travel.
Walking_Wild_Goose.
A 30-minute drive from the Qing Tombs, Zunhua City has a mid- to high-end hot spring resort, Tangquan Palace Hot Springs, which is not long before opening. The millennial ancient spring of this village was the favorite of the royal family in the emperor's time. The temperature of the soup spring was 68 °C, and the health effect was great. It was because of this that it was selected as a hot spring resort after thousands of years. There are about 50 characteristic pools in the indoor and outdoor hot springs of the
Tangquan Palace. Compared with the indoors, I prefer the outdoor hot springs built on the mountain, and there is a real feeling of bathing. There is also a VIP small pool in the mountain. The private feeling is very strong. In the middle, the waiter will take the initiative to hand a cup of hot ginger jujube tea. It is really delicious! Always go to the waiter's station haha for this cup of tea. There are about 27 pools on the mountain. It may be that the winter is too cold, and the outdoor soup springs are not too many people to soak.
Address: Tangquan Village, Tangquan Township, Zunhua City, Tangshan City, Hebei Province
Traffic: Self-driving. It is an hours drive from downtown Tangshan and a 2-hour drive from Beijing.
price reference: Room 700 yuan or so with breakfast and hot springs, buffet 38-58 yuan / person
Tips:
1. Tangquan has places where you can save your phone, the dressing room conditions are also very good, You don't have to bring too many bath products. The room and the spa are also connected, and you dont have to worry about getting cold when you wear a bathrobe.
2. Do not take more than 15 minutes each time
Chloe Yin.
It is said that the most suitable leisure activities for winter is probably to soak in the hot spring water to make a good bathing... Zunhua Tangquan, which is 2 hours away from Beijing, is adjacent to the Qing Tombs and has the Jingdong First Spring since ancient times. Name!
Zunhua's hot springs have high water temperatures and rich minerals, and the history is quite long. It is said that as early as the Tang Dynasty more than 1,000 years ago, when Emperor Taizong Li Shimin was enlisted in the East, he was here to soak up the disease and give him the "Fuquan Temple." In the Qing Dynasty, because of the proximity to the Royal Tombs of Qing Tombs, Zunhua Hot Springs became the place where the emperor's empresses often came to visit - most of them would bathe here before worshipping the Emperor's Mausoleum.
We are staying at the Tangquan Palace Hot Spring Resort in Zunhua, which is only half an hour's drive from Qingdong Mausoleum.
Tangquan Palace is a well-equipped resort. The highlight here is the hot spring pool! There are more than 50 pools indoors and outdoors, the interior is a tropical rainforest style, and there is a fully transparent spa pool. What is more sensational is the outdoor pool built on the mountain--especially when the morning sun is first appeared, the red sky is empty, the sky is blue, the warm pool water is rising, and it is like a fairyland! This scenic spot is the legendary Dongling Eight Views - a soup spring bath day.
The private spa pool in the private garden of the Tangquan Palace, and the mountain chalet villa with its own hot spring pool in the room balcony, come here with a bikini girl, and then bring a ginger to the warm waiter. Jujube tea, the cold winter is also warm.

I must say that this year's "Tangshan Nanhu Spring Festival Lantern Festival" is no less impressive, with care and attention evident everywhere
🌟Highlights:
✅The "Nine Dragons Wall" made of stacked ceramics showcases Tangshan's "porcelain" culture to the fullest.
✅The flying eaves and arches of the Longmen Welcome Tower, along with the rotating dragon in the center, are ingeniously designed and full of fun.
✅The twin dragons playing with a pearl by Nanhu Lake shine brightly in the night, with details so fine that even the dragon's eyes can open and close freely, truly a testament to the craftsmen's dedication and ingenuity.
🧧The drone show is really stunning - I've organized the performance schedule for everyone, so don't miss out (as the drone show is greatly affected by the weather, please refer to the announcements in the scenic area)✅February 10-17 at 20:00

Tangshan📍 Tropical Flair Botanical Garden Tour Guide! Free! Highly recommended!
I guess many people in Tangshan don't know about this botanical flair hall hidden deep in Nanhu~
It's really a great place for taking photos and checking in, super photogenic! 📷
✅ The entire venue is 7,000 square meters, filled with tropical plants, thousands of species, a natural oxygen bar
✅ The temperature inside the hall is around 20 degrees all year round, extremely comfortable
✅ No appointment needed, free 🆓 admission!
✅ Strongly recommend for taking kids out, snapping beautiful photos, and aimless wandering 🚶
📍 Address: Inside Nanhu Park, the current closest entrance is the Taohuatan Gate (the former Xiaonanhu Gate), turn left after entering, keep walking for about 2 kilometers, picture 13 I have marked the navigation route for everyone
📒 Distribution inside the hall: Tropical plant area (a large area of green plants 🌳 many of which you've never seen before), sandy soil plants (similar to cacti), and the non-existent museum (holographic projection introduced some plants that have already disappeared)
⌚️ Tour time: About 2 hours
⚠️ Besides the botanical flair hall, the various gardens outside are also very beautiful, all are imitations of characteristic architecture from different places, the grass is not green yet, but it will look even better when it turns green~
⚠️ Although the main gate of the botanical garden is not open, the botanical flair hall is open.
⚠️ The Cat's Sky City next to the botanical flair hall is not open.

Take a trip to Tangshan during the double festival, don't miss the night view of Nanhu
The moon is bright in the hometown, this Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, those who travel to Tangshan, don't miss the night view of Nanhu.
🎯Friends who like to comment on operas must go to Nanhu Yunfeng Island in Tangshan, cross the century-old history of Tangshan, go to a date that crosses a hundred years, appreciate a magnificent picture, taste a deep and sea-like affection, and leave a memorable memory. This is the first immersive real-life drama on the island in the lake in China, 'That Year of Youth', she travels through time and space, reappears prosperity, and between the neon flickering, 'That Year of Youth' seems to have never been far away.
'That Year of Youth' is not just a drama, from the moment you set foot on the island, you become a character in the drama. Follow the steps of the lantern girl, change the scene with every step, cross a hundred years, appreciate a play, a generation, a love, the brilliance of a city...
🎯The Nanhu Light and Water Dance Show is the show of the water elves. Danfeng Chaoyang Square, the 'Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter' changes on the bronze sculpture. On the surface of Longquan Bay on the south side of the square, it is the show of the water elves. The water waves sway with the music and the colorful laser light, the posture changes; the long scroll water curtain movie, artistic lights, and changing water shapes present a perfect visual feast for people under the help of high technology.

Spring Festival is quite lively, chose Tangshan close to Beijing to feel the New Year atmosphere!🧨🎈🏮
Tangshan is so beautiful!! It reflects the promotional slogan: So close, so beautiful, weekend in Hebei~
🚦One-day tour route🗺:
Depart from Beijing➡️Chuan Feng Yuan Spicy Chicken Cubes➡️Tangshan Banquet➡️Hetou Old Street
🧧【Chuan Feng Yuan Spicy Chicken Cubes】:
Because we wanted to see the night view, we didn't leave too early, we arrived in Tangshan at noon and had a meal at a highly recommended restaurant, you must take a number in advance, there were a lot of people queuing due to the Spring Festival. But the spicy chicken cubes are really delicious!
🧧【Tangshan Banquet】:
Limited entry during the Spring Festival, queued for more than half an hour before entering, both the west and east gates are accessible. The first floor is full of snacks, Xiaoshan fried cakes, and Qizi biscuits are a must-eat! The second floor has cultural and creative products, and stamping is free~
The lanterns🏮inside are really beautiful, and there is also a rose🌹staircase for taking photos.
🧧【Hetou Old Street】:
Arrived at Hetou Old Street at seven in the evening and the lights were already on, it was so stunning! Felt like returning to the grand Tang Dynasty.
The lights on both sides of the river are very beautiful, and there are street settings for taking photos~
There are iron flower performances at night!

Hedao Old Street, just look at the pictures. The night view is quite good~
It's not far from Tianjin either~ The tickets here are not expensive
There weren't many people when I went, so it wasn't too bothersome.
That's it~

Departing from Tianjin to Tangshan Banquet - Hetou Old Street One-Day Tour
Took the green-skin train for a one-day trip to Tangshan👫
📍On the eleventh day of the first lunar month, arrived at Tangshan Banquet after 10 am, no need to queue at the entrance, 🍃on the first floor, passed through the 'Time Tunnel' that transcends eras, with many cassette tapes and old objects. There's a cultural and creative store with many creative cultural products, and you can ask for calligraphy from teachers in ancient costumes, and get free stamps (there are many stamps).
🍃On the second floor, there's a children's playground, library, and the Blessing Corridor (wishing cards for 10 yuan, ribbons for 5 yuan), and 'Suoxin Alley' is very beautiful for taking photos.
🍃At 11:30 am, as more people arrived, we hurried to find a seat to eat: Xiaoshan fried cake ¥3 (similar to Tianjin's 'Ear-eye' fried cake, but with a softer crust)✅Hu Bing ¥6✅Qi Zi Shaobing with three fillings, including red bean, mung bean, and meat✅Grandma's spring pancakes ¥6✅Yogurt ¥9.9✅Sour plum drink ¥8✅Grandma's chicken soup noodles ¥16✅All were great
🍃Snacks are clearly priced‼️Excellent service‼️
🍃The song 'Welcome to Tangshan, experience the colorful life... Welcome to Tangshan, join hands to the mountains and sea, you will fall in love with this city, create the future together...' is played on a loop, very catchy and brainwashing
🍃Today wasn't very crowded, but there were few performances.
📍Arrived at Hetou Old Street after 2 pm, and the lights turned on at 5 pm sharp‼️Tang-style Tang rhyme, dreaming back to the Tang Banquet.
🍃Performances were frequent, didn't bother to check the schedule, felt like there was something to see everywhere
🍃The Da Tie Hua performance at night had three shows: 6:30 pm, 8 pm, and 9 pm. This is a must-see, with a 10-minute performance featuring dragon and lion dances, and the highlight 'Flying Dragon in the Sky' is very impressive‼️
🍃The art district shops on the east bank are very distinctive and worth visiting.
🍃The water market is essentially a food street.
🍃After the lights are on, it's stunningly beautiful, as if you're in the prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty.
🍃The warm-hearted service station offers free ginger date tea (very tasty) and provides warm patches
🍃Behind the two restrooms in Dongzheng Cultural Square, there are small museums to visit, shop, take photos, warm up, and rest.
🍃Not crowded, great experience. But it's really cold🥶Around 7 pm, it started snowing, the snow and night scene were romantically beautiful at Hetou Old Street.
🍃The items and snacks in the Hetou Old Street Museum are mostly the same as those at Tangshan Banquet. The taxi driver mentioned that Tangshan Banquet, Hetou Old Street, and Nanhu Lantern Festival have the same owner
🍃Be sure to arrive early, there are many festive and auspicious photo spots, and it's beautiful to take pictures during the day.
🍃We played for over 5 hours, left before 8 pm, and still wanted more. Will come again if there's time, next time will choose to drive and leave later, the night view is too beautiful.
📍Today's travel expenses: Tianjin➡️Tangshan ¥3.5, Tangshan➡️Tianjin ¥19.5.
Taxi: Tangshan Station➡️Tangshan Banquet ¥12
Tangshan Banquet➡️Hetou Old Street ¥21
Hetou Old Street➡️Tangshan Station ¥20
📍Transportation within Tangshan city is not very convenient, can only take taxis, this is not so good.

Luanzhou Ancient City Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
The Spring Festival holiday in Luanzhou Ancient City
Luanzhou Ancient City is a place lively enough yet not too crowded for comfort. The ancient city is designed in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, with a main street serving as a marketplace. Additionally, two parallel streets are home to restaurants and inns, somewhat reminiscent of the design pattern of Gubei Water Town in Beijing, which separates the bustling areas from the quieter ones.
LEILA MAY
Tangshan, Hebei—Luanzhou Ancient City
This ancient city has always been a place I long to visit, and today I just happen to pass by here on a business trip.
I came here with a fulfilled wish and a happy mood.
Transportation: Luanzhou has 2 train stations. Luanxian Station is located in the county, leaning towards the green-skinned trains.
Luanhe Station is 18 kilometers north of the county, and whether you take the high-speed train depends on where you're coming from and how you're getting here.
The ancient city of Luanzhou is shaped like a horizontal rectangle, like a pencil case; you can enter from either the West Gate or the East Gate (the East Gate has a city tower). It gets busier as you walk from the quiet outskirts to the center.
In the middle, there is a 'Marriage Tower' where you can go to the second floor for 10 yuan to pray for a romantic connection.
Next to it is a pagoda where everyone takes photos. Tickets to climb to the top are 20 yuan, but there is no elevator, so you have to climb the stairs yourself.
That's why I didn't go up, and I've been to Caozhou Ancient City, which has a similar pagoda but with an elevator. If anyone has been up there, leave a photo to make me envious.
The night view for photo ops is quite beautiful.
Inside, there are ancient costume rentals and lanterns, full of festive atmosphere, probably because it's the off-season, the river channel isn't much.
Both sides are the commercialized businesses we're familiar with. It's no surprise to see commercialization, but what's interesting is the loudspeakers of the vendors on both sides.
They were so loud that my ears were buzzing and my head was swelling. It's funny how competitive they are, haha, 'My family's stinky tofu is the most authentic, please recognize and open your eyes,' and the like.
Accommodation: I stayed at the Yunsang Yue Guesthouse in the ancient city. Because it's the off-season, it's not over a hundred yuan, and the environment is okay. I do wish there was a bunch of young people in the lobby to sit and chat over food and drinks~~~

2024 Luanzhou Ancient City Electronic Music Festival
👍🏻 The Luanzhou Ancient City Electronic Music Festival was awesome, it would have been better if the performance time was longer, left me wanting more.
🌈 There's one last day of the festival, and the traffic is crazy! Don't even think about the food, it's not good! If you want to buy something, get some chess piece-shaped cookies, they're freshly baked and delicious, also a Tangshan specialty!
⭐ The performance time is from 19:00 to 20:20, featuring DJ and rapper interactions, as well as singers leading a big sing-along!
🌸 Overall, the stage aesthetics could be better, the lighting and background aren't flashy enough!
🔥 Hope it will be even better next year, I'll come again!

The realistic version of the Qingming River map - the ancient city of Luzhou
Luzhou ancient city is a long history of the ancient city, with China has gone through 3,000 years, walked one after another spring, summer, autumn and winter, and accumulated in the years In it, it emits endless light. It is a pity that the Tangshan earthquake has destroyed this place. The remains of the ancient city are now being rebuilt.
Entering the ancient city, it is very quiet. At first glance, it is the layout of the royal style. A Qinglong River divides the ancient city of Zhangzhou into two sides. There are many restaurants on the riverside trail, and the bar, Qinglonghe Bar Street is Zhangzhou. The ancient city is best for a place to be in a daze. In this street, you can find ethnic-style bars, tea bars, pottery bars, and cafes.
At night, the ancient city of Luzhou is the most beautiful. The red lanterns are high and tall, and the night is beautiful. This historic city has many places to visit. There are 9 light commercial streets, snack barbecue street. , Marriage and Customs Street, Folk Culture Street, Temple Fair Culture Street, Korean Style Cultural Street, Myanmar Jade Street, large dining street, youth cultural and entrepreneurial street, etc.
Zijin Tower The Zijin Tower is the tallest building in the ancient city of Luzhou. It is also a Buddhist shrine. Business people from the ancient city of Luzhou will come to invite a Buddha as a protector and worship on the tower.
The most romantic is the boating on the Qinglong River. In the nighttime of the two sides of the strait, I feel the "millennium of this continent" left by Qianlong.
The food street in the ancient city of Luzhou is also a major feature here, seafood street, snack barbeque area, etc., bringing together the treasures of the four seas: there are Hao Jia Huo, Ai Wei, Ma Ye Shantou, Kidney Bean Noodles, chess pieces, etc., we are looking for a family, they are very delicious.
