If you haven't heard of "Tokonameyaki", then you must know the lucky cat. Tokoname, famous for its ceramic products, is also the hometown of lucky cats. When I got off the highway from the airport, I saw a huge lucky cat beckoning from a distance. There is even a Lucky Cat Street in Tokoname, with all kinds of Lucky Cat decorations on both sides. The small town of Tokoname is built on small hillsides, and the "Ceramics Walk" shuttles between these hillsides. Almost all the streets and factories in Japan are marked with "Tokoname", and even the sparrows here are blackened, so that when Tokoname's children go to play in the next village and town, they are very surprised to see the sparrows that are not black. But now these chimneys are just attractions, and Tokoname's ceramic firing has shifted from industrial production to craft creation. Along the promenade, you can see many small shops selling their own ceramic art. These works are both traditional and gentle, but also have a modern style of personality. Art is the meeting of people and objects, and those works are waiting for the fate of the visitors. Of course, the Tokoname Ceramics Hall is rich in ceramic works, where artists put their works on consignment. There are also various lucky cats in the hall, some with their left hands, some with their right hands, and some with both hands. The secret of this is that: the left hand attracts people, the right hand attracts wealth, and the one who holds both hands high is both people and wealth.
