Lingshan Temple was formerly known as Baoen Temple. It is told that the Phoenix Mountain was the place where the Zhouling King died. Therefore, the mountain was named as Lingshan and the temple named as Lingshan Temple. The characteristic building of Lingshan Temple is the pavilion at the mountain gate. This pavilion sits at south and face the north. The bottom part is a brick platform with a unique style. There are three statues of the Buddha of the Ming Dynasty in the Daxiong Temple of Lingshan Temple, that is, the "Three Worlds Buddhas", which was listed as a key protected cultural relic in Henan Province.
