Hotel near Zhenjiang Railway Station/Wanda Plaza,Zhenjiang 22.7% of visitors choose this area

The high-speed rail station has two exits: North and South. The hotel's directions were for the North exit. I came out of the South exit and went a long way around unnecessarily (because there were only up escalators, and if you went the wrong way, you had to go back down stairs, plus the elevator was under maintenance). I called the front desk twice before realizing I needed to look for the North Plaza sign to exit. The lady at the front desk the next day was very kind; after her shift, she even walked me to the South entrance since I had a lot of luggage.

This hotel is located near Sanyang Plaza, making it super convenient for getting around. The views are fantastic, especially at night when you can see the city center's nightscape. The room is spacious, with a modern minimalist style, and the large bed is really comfortable. The front desk staff are lovely and very helpful; you can reach them through the hotel's WeChat if you need anything. There are also plenty of famous Wuxi local eateries nearby, like Sanfeng Bridge and Wangxingji. It's also a shopping district, so retail therapy is a breeze. There's even an anime-themed mall downstairs – worth checking out if you're into that sort of thing, it's quite fun! The overall vibe of the hotel is great, and the environment is excellent. Friends visiting Wuxi should definitely come and experience this high-rise hotel. Highly recommended! ✨

This hotel is located right in the city center, offering excellent transportation links. It's very close to attractions like He Garden, Ge Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, and Caiyi Street. Being near Maopailou makes grabbing breakfast incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean, tidy, well-laid out, and fully equipped. The bathroom has a great wet/dry separation and no unpleasant smells, and the AC works perfectly. The owner is super friendly and helpful, sending a detailed Yangzhou food and drink guide via WeChat. This guide is comprehensive, covering transportation, distances to attractions, and even categorizes restaurants with map locations, making it very practical. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I highly recommend it!

The free airport shuttle service is definitely the highlight! I booked it in advance, called once I landed, and the driver arrived in just a few minutes. It took only about ten minutes to get to the hotel, which was a huge relief, especially not having to scramble for a taxi late at night or in the early morning. In the morning, they dropped me off at the terminal right on time, perfectly synced with my schedule – I felt completely at ease. The room was clean, and all the towels were disposable, which made for a very comfortable and reassuring night's sleep. For travelers needing an efficient transit and a guaranteed good night's rest, this place offers excellent value for money. It will be my top choice next time!

Perfect location, lovely hosts, beautiful room with vintage furniture and super soft blanket! Very authentic. During the day time it’s super loud because of the amount of tourists, but staying in this place gives you unique opportunity to explain the town in the very early morning or very late evening (the lights switch off at 23:00). The room can seem small, but it’s old town, it can’t be different:) Unfortunately there was no tea provided, that’s sad for tea-famous country, maybe should be improved. Other than that – my stay was amazing☺️

We only stayed one night but the location, service and the amenities were awesome. I have booked the room with the panoramic view and though the weather was not the best, we weren’t disappointed. The service was excellent as well, even offered us a second complimentary fruit basket. If we visit Wuxi once more, we will choose this accommodation again

The entire public area and the corners of the room are cleaned spotlessly, the tabletop is not dusty, the bathroom is also polished brightly without water stains. You can walk to the large shopping malls in the core business district in seven or eight minutes. There are all kinds of trendy brand shops, specialty food shops, cultural and creative markets. It’s fun to go shopping enough to kill most of the time. The professional screening equipment in the room can be used directly by looking for the front desk to register and authorize in advance. The picture is clear and the sound effect is smooth, and the viewing experience is particularly good.

✨ Amazing Host, So Warm-hearted! - Landed in Nanjing at 1 AM, and the lovely owner actually picked me up herself! The business van was spacious and comfortable, and she even helped me with my luggage. We chatted like old friends, she was so kind~ - When I got to the room, I found some thoughtful touches: wireless charging by the bed 🔋 – a detail-lover's dream! 🏠 A Healing Space with Great Aesthetics - The bedding was super soft, like clouds ☁️. Waking up to the sunshine in the morning was pure bliss~ - The hotel decor is beautiful, you can really tell the owner puts her heart into running this place! 🚗 A Must-Read Guide for Transit Travelers 1. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the airport. Book your airport drop-off in advance, no need to worry about missing your flight~ 2. There's also an airport pick-up service for late-night arrivals, so you can get some proper rest even during a layover 😭 3. The value for money for this level of amenities is absolutely incredible! 💡 Summary: Next time I have a layover in Nanjing, I'm definitely staying here again! 🙋‍♀️ #NanjingLayoverGuide #HiddenGemHotel #NanjingAccommodationRecommendation

SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.

SSouthafricangirl26I was asked by the hotel to leave a five-star review, but unfortunately I can’t do so in good conscience. There are genuinely strong positives to this property. The location is excellent—while it’s a bit removed from the city centre, it’s surrounded by fantastic restaurants, convenience stores, and a lovely nearby park. The area is quiet and peaceful, and although there is some construction in the vicinity, that’s understandable given the ongoing development. The rooms themselves are also very well designed: spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you might need, including thoughtful amenities like a washing machine. The layout and overall setup are great. The staff, for the most part, have also been kind, responsive, and helpful. One staff member in particular was consistently warm and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile. The team handled my complaints with professionalism, offered solutions, and even extended a discount for a future stay, which I genuinely appreciate. However, the major issue—and the reason I cannot rate this hotel highly—is the cleanliness. Upon arrival, I was initially placed in a room that had clearly not been properly cleaned. There was visible dust throughout, hair and toenail clippings around the bed, and most shockingly, a used condom left on the windowsill. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene standards and room preparation. After raising this with the staff, I was moved to another room. While I appreciated the effort to resolve the issue, I had specifically requested that the new room be thoroughly cleaned. Unfortunately, many of the same problems persisted: dust was still present, dirt was visible under the bed, and the glassware was not properly cleaned—one glass even had lipstick stains on it. These are basic cleanliness standards that should be met without exception. It takes a lot for me to complain, and I consider myself a very easygoing guest. For me to request a room change speaks volumes about how serious these issues were. This hotel has a lot of potential. With its location, amenities, and generally helpful staff, it could easily be a fantastic place to stay. However, until the housekeeping standards are significantly improved and consistently maintained, I cannot recommend it as a high-quality option. I do hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns, because with proper attention to cleanliness, this could truly be a five-star experience.

DDuntiechongyijiaqinThe environment is fantastic, especially the location. It's incredibly close to Fuzimiao, right next to the Fuzimiao Grand Market. Getting to Laomendong, the Fuzimiao Qinhuai Scenic Belt, Jiangnan Gongyuan, or Bailuzhou Park is super convenient – all within a 10-minute bike ride. The atmosphere here is also excellent with plenty of public areas (and charging points!). I didn't take photos of the rooms, focusing mainly on the public spaces, which include a dedicated drying area. Plus, there's an elevator and shared showers and restrooms.

GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again. Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy. The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see. The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget > mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China. The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc). My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell. In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.

CCW from MalaysiaLocation The hotel is near Dongliu Station, but you need to walk about 3 blocks (15 minutes). The walk is flat, but in July and August it can get very hot, so bring an umbrella. The area is quiet and feels isolated. Although the hotel is not far from Nanjing University Xianlin Campus, there is no direct train, you need to change lines and make an awkward turn. Shared bikes (Hello blue bikes) are convenient in Xianlin, but not around this hotel. A good option is to take the B3 shuttle bus from Sanyang Road, which goes to Nanjing University train station (walking distance to NJU). Around the hotel, you will find small eateries (like chicken and duck rice shops) and a few convenience stores, but no malls. Cleanliness The rooms are clean, but there is a smoke smell that stays for about a day. The staff suggested opening the window and using the aircon, but I also bought a reed diffuser from Miniso to make it smell fresher. Bedsheets were changed regularly (every 5 days). The toilet slippers looked dirty, so I did not use them. Also, the hotel does not provide floor towels. Staff & Service The staff were very kind and helpful. They upgraded me to a bigger double room with a sofa and work area, and also gave me a cheaper rate since I stayed for 40 nights. Cleaning staff came daily, bringing bottled water and keeping the toilet clean. The night-shift counter staff were also helpful. Facilities There is a washing machine that can wash and dry in one cycle. Do not overload it, or clothes won’t dry properly. Since the hotel is not very busy, I could use the machine anytime without queuing. Rooms have a hair dryer and a lighted mirror. The aircon makes a small dripping sound, but it is not a real problem. Noise The soundproofing is generally okay, but occasionally you can hear people talking loudly if there are guests next door. It’s not the hotel’s fault—just that people in China often speak very loudly, even inside their rooms or in the corridor. Nothing much you can do about it. Surroundings & Safety The area is safe, with big roads and many residential apartments. In the evenings, families with kids and dogs walk around, and I also jogged nearby. Food delivery is easy drivers can bring food to your room or the counter. Overall It is a quiet and safe place to stay, with helpful staff and decent facilities. The location is not very convenient for NJU Xianlin Campus, but manageable if you use the shuttle bus.

JJuujuuHuTHE BEST [FEMALE] HOSTEL TO EXIST!!! It has everything a girl needs, super clean, smells great, quiet, just feels like a girls sleepover where everyone are strangers. The employees are very kind that they will try to explain in English if you're not Chinese speaker, but do understand not very fluent, but very informative already. They would tour you around the whole hostel explaining everything so you have a smooth staycation even if it's a day. There are rules for follow, which is understandable on why it's the cleanest managed hostel. You would need to make your own bed, it took a while, but if unable you can always ask the receptionist to help, so don't be scared to ask for help, it took me 10min because it was just sheets with limited space. Before check out, you would need to strip the sheets and put it in the basket indicated outside. You do only get a disposable towel and toothbrush and toothpaste, so make sure to bring your towel if staying many nights. Bathrooms are spacious, I've never seen such big bottles are body wash and shampoo ever, very generous and smells nice. You have a section to blowdry your hair with a mirror, as well as comb and hair brush if needed. Detergent is included in a paid laundry service. You can either air dry or use dryer, lots of hangers to use. There are designated makeup areas to get ready with mirrors that has lights. The common room: there are plenty of chairs and tables to use, or using the couch near the projector is an option. Sometimes they play a drama on the projector and sometimes it's quiet. The kitchen is located near the receptionist and in common room. You have a fridge, microwave, water dispenser (both hot and warm), cutlery, plates, bowls are available, tea bags, every night they have a plate of fruit which you can eat too. One thing I love is the locker space, normally you get a small locker which wouldn't really fit a cabin suitcase in, but this one, you can fit 2 cabin suitcase that is how big the locker is, so nice, and there is a rack in there too. Very spacious. Rooms are very spacious too. Bed is nice firm, not on the soft side if you prefer soft bed, pillow is a bit cloudy soft, but still ok. Location is great too, located around plenty of foods, few minute walk from the metro station. There's a McDonald next door too. Definitely coming back here if I'm in Nanjing alone next time.

GGuest UserAs someone from Inner Mongolia, I found this hotel to be excellent for around 300 yuan. I stayed for two nights, and the front desk staff even helped me with my luggage, which was a huge help as I'm pregnant and traveling alone. My experience here was great, and the service was really good. The room was clean and spacious. As for soundproofing, it's pretty much the same as any other hotel, but I didn't hear much noise during my stay, and my neighbors were quiet too. I asked housekeeping for two bottles of water, and they gave me four, which was a nice touch! The location is fantastic, very close to Zhuozheng Garden subway station, and also near Lion Grove Garden and Suzhou Museum. It's definitely worth recommending, and I felt very safe traveling alone and staying here. Five stars! 🌟
