I had a surprisingly great experience there, the whole place was super clean and had such a bright, welcoming energy. My room felt incredibly cozy, providing just the right atmosphere to unwind after a busy day. Most importantly, I actually got a solid night’s sleep because the bed was so comfy and the environment stayed nice and quiet. Honestly, I didn't run into a single issue during my time there. JJasmine1992Trip.com doesn't have Reviw for ”check-in experience”, but if it does, it is zero star. This hotel needs to train a young receptionist. I already informed the hotel that I would check in late around 11pm and the young boy didn't know how to checkin and made me wait until other staff came. When a guest is tired, we do not like to wait for a simple checkin process. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hotel nearby the Surabaya airport. As you can see from the photo, they don't bother to fix the curtain.

GGuest UserVery nice hostel, great owner and staff, kind and very helpful. Have the cheapest and best tour for mount bromo and waterfalls in town. Powerful AC in the rooms, clean and nice hot showers. Washing machine and chill spot on the roof. I highly recommend staying at least 2 nights. Great free tour we got of the local chinese temple. Locatio close to the color villages. Had a very good time there. Nice night market in front of the place. Photo of the rooftop view.

AAnonymous UserExceeded expectations! For such an affordable price, I felt like I received 5-star service. Breakfast was included and quite satisfying, and the welcome drink was really refreshing after a long trip. I dropped my luggage before check-in, and it was super convenient, I even got early check-in, which allowed me to explore the city right away and save both time and money. After check-out, I also left my luggage at the hotel and enjoyed a nearby cafĂ© before my departure. So helpful! The facilities were excellent: power outlets conveniently placed for charging, fresh towels and linens replaced daily, complimentary bottled water, and reliable hot water for showers. There’s also a dispenser for hot and cold water refills. The view from my room was a bonus, I could see Tunjungan Plaza right from the window. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Surabaya. Absolutely loved my stay at Amaris Hotel Embong Malang Surabaya. Definitely staying here again!

GGuest UserThe hotel is well-priced. The food quality is satisfactory. The hotel's tour to Bromo Volcano was well-organized. The hotel's tour to Ijen Volcano was also well-organized, with one exception: the hotel staff packed six people into a five-passenger vehicle. Four people paid for the Ijen Volcano tour, but two passengers were simply picked up at Banyuwangi. As a result, three people shared two seats in the vehicle for eight hours, which was very uncomfortable and difficult.

The moment we reach the hotel and straightaway saw the mountain & surroundings, we were just stunned & felt amazing with the scenery of this hotel. The room is a humble small villa and it's quite clean & provide TV, wifi, water heater, cups & a table and chairs with a rubbish bin outside the room. They provide soap, small shampoo & toothbrush with paste. We could not stop taking pictures of Mount Bromo the moment we step out of the hotel. Price is surprisingly affordable. Thank you so much Cemara Indah hotel! We will surely come back again!!
