AAnonymous UserFacilities: A bit old. Location: Tucked away in an alley. Cleanliness: Decent. Service: Good. The little white note indicates they can open (the room/door) proactively. They allowed an early check-in, and adding just 5,000 won for breakfast was a great deal! I recommend taking a taxi here; otherwise, you'll never find the place.

LL.C123The guesthouse is located in the old town. The roads are quite narrow, and some sections are currently under construction with engineering vehicles. Although there are alternative routes to reach the entrance, some drivers might not be familiar with them. If you return to the guesthouse too late, drivers might be reluctant to drive all the way in because the path is too dark and difficult to navigate, so you may need to walk a short distance yourself. The room is simple but very spacious. Please note that toiletries and an electric kettle are not provided (though you can boil water in the kitchen), and you will also need to prepare your own bottled water. Fortunately, there is a small convenience store right next door where you can buy these items. During my stay, it rained one day and there was a brief power outage, but electricity was restored very quickly. The host is wonderful and speaks fluent English. Upon check-in, he gave me a map and briefly explained the locations of key attractions and some restaurants. When I checked out, he even helped me with my luggage and called a taxi for me. If you have any questions, he will always answer them patiently. The guesthouse is about a 15-minute walk from Registan. There are more restaurants around the Bibi-Khanym Mosque area, where you can also find a tourist information center that helps mail postcards. If you don’t demand the facilities of a brand-name hotel, the overall experience is very good.

NNorehanThe hotel is in a very strategic location, close to Registan Square, historical sites, and Siyob Bazaar, all within walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights. The first night, we had a spacious room with good amenities, but the air conditioner was old and hot. We requested to move to a room downstairs; the room was smaller and lacked amenities like a kettle, and drinking water was not provided, but the air conditioner worked well. Breakfast had limited options and was minimal. The staff, made up of family members, were very helpful. This hotel can be considered as one of the options. It is recommended that the management upgrade the breakfast and provide some essential facilities for tourists.

アアラレあられThe breakfast is quite substantial, with warm dishes that change daily, plus bread, pancakes, fruits, and nuts. They also serve a pot of tea (black tea, green tea, coffee). The dormitory beds are spacious and tall, ensuring a comfortable stay. The common area in the courtyard offers dappled sunlight and protection from the heat. The owner is very clean and the cleaning is thorough, and they are always willing to kindly help with any questions or concerns. The best part about this hotel is its location. Being within walking distance to major tourist attractions, I was able to frequently go out in the early mornings and evenings during my stay.

GGuest UserThe hostel is located in the Old Town, which is convenient as the bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away. However, it's situated in a small alley, and there's a stretch of road without streetlights when returning from the main square, which felt a bit unsafe at night. The owner was always helpful in solving various issues, for example, when I wanted to boil a couple of eggs in the morning. There's a water dispenser available in the common area, which is handy. The day before I checked in, guests reported no hot water, initially thinking it was due to late-night usage. The next day, it was still cold. When asked, the owner said a circuit breaker had tripped. Once fixed, the water was very hot, so it's important to report any problems promptly. It was advertised as a 4-bed dorm, but it was actually a 5-bed dorm, which was quite a surprise. The owner claimed it couldn't be changed on the platform, a reason I found hard to accept. Even if the main listing couldn't be altered, they could have added a note in the remarks section. Otherwise, it feels like deception, especially for a 'non-refundable' booking where no money is returned. This was the case for both the female and male dorms. With many guests staying, the cleanliness of the common areas struggled to keep up. Also, I didn't seem to find any lockable personal lockers. The owner, who uses a wheelchair, runs this hostel, which is commendable, and the price is good. However, the issues mentioned above do exist. Luckily, I only stayed for one night as a stopover.
