Osaka Tokyu Rei Hotel

The room was a bit small, but the location is great. It's a 15-minute walk from Osaka Station, and there are plenty of restaurants on the street behind the hotel, making dining very convenient. I'd definitely book here again next time I'm in Osaka. Recommended!

The hotel's location is quite easy to find, with plenty of food and shopping options nearby, which is very convenient! The room space is limited, but with a bit of planning, it's quite functional. However, the hairdryer definitely needs an update; it was quite frustrating to use!

Every time I visit, I stay at this hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Umeda Station, which is a fantastic location. The breakfast is delicious, and they even have steak 🥩. You can freely use all the hotel amenities, and they even provide face masks.

The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the airport shuttle bus. The facilities are a bit old, but overall still pretty good.

Overall: A business hotel in the Umeda area with good value for money. Location: It's a 3-minute walk from Exit M10 at the end of Whity East Mall. This makes it very convenient for those needing to take the Hankyu, Hanshin, or JR lines to Kyoto and Kobe during their stay in Osaka, potentially saving on subway fares. Surrounding Environment: Located in Doyama-cho, and near the Hankyu Higashidori Shopping Street, the overall atmosphere is lively and bustling, but there are no safety concerns. Hotel Facilities: A bit dated, but housekeeping is fine. Since it's a building from '78, it doesn't have vending machines on every floor. Regarding the Room: The bathtub is small. My requests for a high floor and a south-facing room when booking were not met. Even though I checked in at 4 PM, when there should have been plenty of rooms available, I ended up on the 6th floor in a courtyard-facing room. It had poor lighting, and drawing the curtains immediately exposed privacy. The only upside was that it was very quiet at night for sleeping.
