Osaka Tokyu Rei Hotel

Every time I visit, I stay at this hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Umeda Station, which is a fantastic location. The breakfast is delicious, and they even have steak 🥩. You can freely use all the hotel amenities, and they even provide face masks.

The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the airport shuttle bus. The facilities are a bit old, but overall still pretty good.

Overall: A business hotel in the Umeda area with good value for money. Location: It's a 3-minute walk from Exit M10 at the end of Whity East Mall. This makes it very convenient for those needing to take the Hankyu, Hanshin, or JR lines to Kyoto and Kobe during their stay in Osaka, potentially saving on subway fares. Surrounding Environment: Located in Doyama-cho, and near the Hankyu Higashidori Shopping Street, the overall atmosphere is lively and bustling, but there are no safety concerns. Hotel Facilities: A bit dated, but housekeeping is fine. Since it's a building from '78, it doesn't have vending machines on every floor. Regarding the Room: The bathtub is small. My requests for a high floor and a south-facing room when booking were not met. Even though I checked in at 4 PM, when there should have been plenty of rooms available, I ended up on the 6th floor in a courtyard-facing room. It had poor lighting, and drawing the curtains immediately exposed privacy. The only upside was that it was very quiet at night for sleeping.

The hotel's location is super convenient, close to the Umeda shopping district, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options right downstairs. It's also very close to the subway station, which is a huge plus. The hotel's service and facilities are decent as well.

Great location, very convenient for transport and close to the Umeda shopping district. There's a street full of restaurants right near the hotel, and plenty of convenience stores downstairs. The hotel's very clean too. I stay here every time I visit Osaka!

The hotel's location is pretty good, not far from the bustling downtown area. The room is spacious enough to fit a 26-inch suitcase. However, the bedding is a bit old, and the facilities are quite dated. On the upside, there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.

This was my second stay, and it was even better this time, especially since I discovered 'Life' (a supermarket/store) not too far away! This trip was mainly about eating! Saturday night was spent exploring Shinsaibashi, and Sunday was Umeda... Kyoto is great, but Osaka is even better. Even without many Chinese tourists, the number of visitors reached an all-time high. It was lively but still felt orderly, and I had an incredibly good time. Japan is truly wonderful!
