Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel

Their bathroom setup is like this! The shower is inside the bathtub! For a hotel that costs 1700 a night!

It's alright, but they don't issue invoices for domestic use in China. The hotel is in the city center, which is convenient for sightseeing, right next to the Grand Theatre and the pedestrian street. When I checked in, Vietnam had just won the football championship, so motorcycles were noisy for the first half of the night. The front desk service was good. There's a gym and a pool, and the environment is also very nice.

I used the breakfast service during my business trip, and it was pleasant and comfortable. Sheraton is satisfying not only for its location but also for its facilities as a renowned hotel.

The room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the authentic pho. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to everything. The hotel front desk staff were also quite courteous.

During our trip to Ho Chi Minh City, our child unfortunately fell ill, forcing my husband and I to cut our trip short and return home to care for them. I'm especially grateful to Trip.com and the hotel for understanding that our change of plans was due to unforeseen circumstances. They agreed to let us leave a day early and fully refunded the cost. This is exactly the kind of service I value most – human empathy can be more important than anything else, beyond just service quality or the age of facilities. It’s also why I consistently use Trip.com.

The hotel is beautiful, and the decorative paintings are very artistic. There's a young woman at the front desk who speaks Chinese. The breakfast is rich and features Vietnamese specialties. From the window, you can also enjoy a great view of the city.

The view is absolutely stunning.

Extremely dissatisfied! On the third and fourth day, I couldn't check in because of an urgent matter back home. My friend in Vietnam went to stay there for me in the evening, but they wouldn't let him, not even register him, claiming it was Vietnamese law! They even called a man, possibly the duty manager, and he also refused! Their attitude was absolutely terrible!! My friend suspects they were trying to extort a large tip! Five-star? Everyone needs to be very careful and clarify the registration process when checking in!

This was my third stay, and the quality of service from Marriott Bonvoy and Sheraton never disappoints! The Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers is right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, making it super convenient for getting around. The hotel is clean and well-equipped. Highly recommend!
