Eastin Grand Hotel Saigon

This was a very comfortable hotel. Staying in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City can be quite bustling, and for those who are already used to it, it might still feel a bit noisy at times. Given this, I was looking for a place with good access to both the airport and the city center that was also comfortable. To receive this level of service for around 10,000 yen is something I am very grateful for. I would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

The room is fully equipped with good hardware facilities, spacious enough, and the breakfast is great.

5 stars! Very close to the airport, less than a 10-minute drive. From the moment you get out of the car, you don't even have to push your own luggage. All the staff speak English. They have a hotel app that lets you unlock your room and order room service easily—super convenient for introverts. Great price, too, and all amenities are fully provided. The only downside is that there was some dust on the glass shelves, and the glass door in the bathroom had some smudges/water marks that weren't wiped completely clean. You wouldn't notice unless you look closely, but unfortunately, I did haha.

Big warning! I arrived late at night to check in, but was told that the Ctrip order hadn't come through yet. I waited for 20 minutes and only managed to check in after Ctrip communicated and coordinated with them. The hotel placed very tall glass cups on a narrow counter, which were easily knocked over and broken. Then they chased me out of the hotel and demanded 50,000 Vietnamese Dong for compensation before I could leave! The service attitude was very poor.

It's so good, I'll book it again when I come to Ho Chi Minh City. There are many shops nearby and it's excellent. I stayed for two consecutive nights and the massage was also very, very good.

Oh, and the food was amazing! Clean rooms, friendly service. The best in Ho Chi Minh City!

Only 10 minutes from the airport, it's convenient for a layover. Although it's an older hotel, it's well-maintained, clean, and spacious, making it a much better choice than typical boutique hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. I would definitely stay here again.
