Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World

After booking the room, the account manager immediately contacted us and provided a complimentary upgrade. We enjoyed a relaxing time in the bathtub, facing the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. This wonderful experience, especially in the slightly chilly weather, was made possible by Radisson and Jackie. It's truly rare and precious to enjoy such warm, unhurried moments with family amidst the bustling Nanjing Road. We will definitely be back!

This is another hidden gem of a hotel that exceeded all my expectations! 😍 Located in the New World on Nanjing Road, its prime location goes without saying. Despite being 20 years old, the hotel is remarkably well-maintained. The rooms, hallways, and lobby all exude a sense of comfort. The rooms are fully equipped with practical amenities, avoiding unnecessary clutter. The swimming pool was a pleasant surprise – the views, cleanliness, water temperature, facilities, and service were all exceptional, making for an experience far beyond what I anticipated 👍. The revolving restaurant on the 45th floor is also worth multiple visits – highly recommended! The staff are incredibly well-trained, from the front desk to housekeeping, and the restaurant and gym staff, all providing warm, comfortable, and professional service. The price during the Chinese New Year holiday was also incredibly attractive! A truly wonderful experience!

Great location right next to the subway. I got upgraded to a junior suite, and Jesaica at the front desk was so helpful and attentive to my needs. Thank you, lovely lady, for the excellent service! New World Department Store and Madame Tussauds are both downstairs. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

This year, we decided to book our New Year's Eve dinner at the Radisson, and to save ourselves the hassle of traveling back and forth, we decided to stay there as well. JUDY called me a day in advance to ask about my room preferences, which eased my anxiety and built up my anticipation for the stay. We booked a Deluxe Suite, facing south towards People's Park, offering a really great view. The room was very tidy, with a living room and bedroom, and a standard double bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, but no bidet. Although the hotel isn't new, it's clear that the room facilities are very well-maintained. The shower brand is Radisson's own, and it worked quite well. Room service is also worth mentioning; their response time was very quick, and they offered turndown service. We also received complimentary welcome fruits. The hotel's location is excellent. You don't even need to go outside to access New World City directly, making shopping and dining very convenient. We had lunch on the 8th and 9th floors of New World City for the past few days. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is right outside. On New Year's Eve, we went to Nanjing Road and the Bund, experiencing Shanghai's New Year's atmosphere up close, which was a rare treat. The breakfast was very plentiful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite crystal cakes. The lack of free parking was a bit unexpected. While it might be due to the location, other hotels I've stayed at recently, like the Conrad and Peace Hotel, also have excellent locations but offer free parking. However, the parking garage entrance is very narrow, and the turns are quite tight, which could be challenging for less-skilled drivers. So, it's probably best not to drive if you can avoid it. This was my first stay at a Radisson Group hotel, and it left a very positive impression on me.

This hotel is perfect for families with babies. We booked a premium suite for New Year's Eve, and the hotel even called us beforehand to ask about our check-in preferences. We requested an air purifier, a baby cot (since it didn't have a railing), and baby amenities like a children's toothbrush, toothpaste, and bathrobe. We also asked for a room with a Bund view, and all our requests were fulfilled in advance. The hygiene was excellent. Big thanks to Judy at the front desk for arranging everything so perfectly!
