Hotel Nikko Saigon

Upgraded room and the service was top-notch as always. Just like a decade ago, it remains my top choice for a stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are better than in other hotels; no water leaks out while showering. The pool is clean and not crowded, and the staff are all very friendly. The Haidilao next door has great service, but it's expensive.

The hotel's location is decent. We had to take taxis to get to the main attractions. Due to time constraints, we weren't able to use the hotel's complimentary shuttle bus service. The breakfast had a good variety, but it wasn't particularly refined. The room was quite spacious, and the cleanliness was acceptable, though it's an older hotel and the carpet looked a bit stained. The staff were all very friendly, and there was even a front desk staff member who spoke with a Hong Kong accent. Within a ten-minute walk, there's a large supermarket and various local eateries. I recommend the fried chicken at Taxes nearby.

I stayed for five nights, and the hotel environment was quite good, meeting my expectations for a five-star international chain. Every time I entered or exited, the staff would always help open the main door and car door. It's not in a particularly bustling or noisy area, but it's not far to get to various places by taxi. The hotel's food is excellent; the breakfast buffet on the second floor is very rich. While the lounge's afternoon tea and happy hour don't offer a vast selection, they are refined. A common highlight is the excellent service from all the staff. It's especially suitable for business travelers. The only drawback is that the gym equipment is old and limited.

This hotel is operated by Japanese people, and the fact that such a decoration appeared on the hotel's iconic doll shows the hotel's stance. No matter how good the environment is, I cannot accept this.

Unbeatable location! Fantastic Japanese-style service and staff. The hotel is clean and tidy, and I love the lovely scent inside! It's very convenient to get to all the major attractions by Grab taxi. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

Stayed in an Executive Club Suite. For Japanese travelers, the excellent service and sense of security are probably the best. Highly recommended for a first-time visit to Ho Chi Minh City. However, the food at the Executive Lounge was a bit sparse. The afternoon tea was self-service, but being able to smoke on the terrace made it a comfortable experience.

The service was amazing. They even gave me a cake for my birthday.
