Jin Jiang Tower

This is my Nth stay at the Jinjiang Hotel, and I experienced the same high-quality service as always. The staff speaking the Shanghai dialect made us locals feel especially at home. Wishing the hotel continued prosperity and boundless financial success. I look forward to staying here again!

Turn right out of the hotel and you're just a short walk from the bustling Huaihai Road; turn left and you're right on Changle Road, with Line 13 just across the street. This unbeatable location, combined with the enduring reputation of the classic Jin Jiang brand, gives the hotel a unique character. In the early autumn, the sunlight in the pool was wonderfully warm. Special praise goes to the drip coffee provided in the room, which filled every morning with a rich aroma. I'll definitely have to try the revolving restaurant next time I stay.

Booked my stay for October 4, 2026—staying at the Jin Jiang Tower this time. Overall, the place looks pretty nice. However, the parking management could definitely use some improvement!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, surrounded by streets perfect for a city walk, an old commercial district, and plenty of dining options and small shops. The hotel itself is a bit old, and there was a musty smell in the room, which might have been due to the continuous rain during my stay. I'm a bit sensitive to that, and I coughed for a while before going to sleep at night.

The Grand Tang Hotel is bright and impressive. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. The 'Happy Little Butler' service is a thoughtful touch; they sent messages in advance about the weather. The hotel overall is very clean, and the rooms are spacious with excellent facilities, including a minibar. The rooms have great natural light and fantastic views, overlooking Shanghai and offering a clear sight of the 'Pudong Three-Piece Suit' (Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center). The surrounding transportation is also very convenient.

The Metro Line 13 station is right across the street, making it safe and convenient for getting around. The 360-degree revolving restaurant on the 41st/42nd floor offers a comfortable, elegant, and cozy atmosphere, and the night view is absolutely stunning – truly magnificent! We ordered a set menu for four, and the freshly roasted duck, prepared three ways, was one of the most delicious we've ever tasted. Every dish was a culinary delight. We've traveled to several countries, and this dinner at Jinjiang was definitely the most delicious we've had. We'll certainly stay here again next time we're back in China/Shanghai. In fact, some friends are already booking a stay at Jinjiang next week based on my recommendation. The facilities are comprehensive, though perhaps not super new, which is understandable given the hotel is over thirty years old. The service was absolutely fantastic. I really love this hotel.

The hotel has a great environment, and the transportation is convenient with the subway nearby. I was on a business trip, and the front desk staff (the 'little brother' as a friendly term) specially arranged a quieter floor and room for me. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

This hotel is absolutely the best value for a five-star experience! I stayed for 4 nights (2 nights booked through Trip.com + 2 nights directly with the hotel) and it was a perfect experience, very reasonably priced. My room was upgraded upon check-in, and the breakfast quality was great. When the TV malfunctioned, the hotel staff promptly came and replaced it – very efficient and responsible in handling issues. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were all gentle, considerate, and always on hand to help. The service standard of this well-established five-star hotel truly put me at ease. It's my first choice for travel and I'll definitely stay here again! I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers [heart emoji].
