Berman Hotel Shanghai Lujiazui Oriental Pearl Branch

The room was clean and tidy. It's very close to the 'three-piece suite' (likely referring to the Lujiazui financial district landmarks). Breakfast was great, especially the freshly made mini wontons. It's also very convenient to both Metro Line 2 and Line 9.

Overall, a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and the service was warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the overhead rainfall showerhead didn't work, so I had to use the small handheld one. It was positioned much too low, making it impossible to stand upright while washing my hair, which really ruined the shower experience. It is recommended that they fix the showerhead.

The facilities are outdated. The light was broken and not fixed. The desk lamp cord was damaged and just haphazardly taped up with electrical tape. There's no blackout curtain between the bathroom and bedroom. The window opens to an air shaft, so it's not a real window. The desk lamp's power button light is too bright and can't be turned off, which affects sleep.

The room is very clean. Just outside, you can see the 'Three Piece Set' (Lujiazui skyscrapers) and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It's also very close to the subway station. I noticed it's super convenient to get to Hospital No. 9 from here as well.

Right outside the courtyard, there are 'three-piece' restaurants (referring to a set of convenient eateries), and it's only about a 10-minute walk to both Line 2 and Line 9. Getting to the riverside to see the view also takes just 10 minutes on foot. Great value for money!
