Qionghuadao

Qionghua Island, Beihai Park, Beijing, was built in Shunzhi eight years (1651) in the early Qing Dynasty. It is a Tibetan lama tower and an iconic attraction in Beihai. Beihai White Pagoda according to the stone tablet of the tower, at that time "there were Western lamas, want to Buddhist Yin Zan Emperor, please Li Pagoda Temple, Shouguo Youmin", got the emperor's approval, so built Yong'an Temple and White Pagoda. The tower is35.9 meters high, above the circle, rich in change, for the Sumi Mountain, the tower is equipped with a treasure cover, treasure top, and decorated with sun, moon and flame patterns, to indicate that "Dharma" is as shining as the sun and moon, and will shine on the earth forever.

In the middle of summer, I passed Wenjin Street and the beautiful scenery of Beihai attracted me. I entered the park, crossed the big stone bridge and went straight to Qionghua Island. Beihai Park is located in the central area of Beijing, adjacent to Jingshan in the east, facing the Zhongnanhai in the south, and Beilian Shichahai. It belongs to the ancient Chinese royal garden. The park is centered on the Beihai, covering an area of 69 hectares (39 hectares of water), mainly composed of Qionghua Island, East Bank and North Bank scenic spots. Qionghua Island is rich in trees, quiet pavilions and pavilions, and white towers stand on the mountains, which become the symbol of the park. Qionghua Island, in the south of Taiye Pool in Beihai. Qionghua, meaning gorgeous jade, this name means that the island is a fairyland treasure island built with beautiful jade. Qionghua Island is beautifully built, scattered in height and low, distributed by the mountain, hidden in the pine and cypress. To the south, the Yong'an Temple is the main body, with Falun Palace, Zhengdang Palace, Pu'an Palace and the hall corridor, Bell and Drum Tower, etc., yellow tiles and red walls, colorful. To the west, it is Yuexin Palace, Qinghui Building, Linguang Palace and the Yue Ancient Building where the treasures of Qianlong's "Sanxitang Fat" are stored. There are not many buildings in the east of the island, but the trees are shaded, the scenery is quiet and unique. Qianlong Book "Qiong Island Spring Yin" stone monument, standing in the depths of the green shade, is one of the "Yanjing Eight Views". A row of double-storey 60 waterfront corridors along the northern foothills are like a ribbon that wraps the entire Qiongdao around its waist, and the corridors, peaks and white towers reflect the water, with picturesque scenery. To the southeast, there is a stone bridge and the shore connected, with the beautiful scenery of the mountain, the Forbidden City, the color of the light, forming a magnificent picture.

Qionghua Island is the symbol of Beihai Park, a white pagoda is widely known to the world. In winter, there are few tourists in Beihai Park, and Qionghua Island is very clean. The white pagoda after snow is under the blue sky and white clouds, especially holy and beautiful.
