CPC Guangdong District Committee Former Site Memorial Hall

Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the Guangdong District Committee of the CPC, No. 75-81 Wenming Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province (reformed to No. 194-200 in 2003). Guangdong Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The 4 houses are connected into one piece, all of which are 3 floors. The brick and wood structure and wooden floors sit south facing north. There are doors in the interior. Each building is 4 meters wide and12.8 meters deep. The bottom floor is from left to right for residential and shops. The 2nd and 3rd floors are the offices of the Guangdong Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Guangdong Committee of the Youth League. Now the offices of the ministries and commissions of the Guangdong Committee of the Communist Party of China on the 3rd floor have been restored, and the communication room and meeting room on the 2nd floor have been restored, and the rest are showrooms. The party organ did not make it public, and registered with the police station under the pseudonym "Guandong Canal" (the harmonic of "Guangdong District"), and later Guandong Canal became the code name of the Guangdong District Committee. The National Liberation Association and the preparatory office of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions were also in the early days on the second floor, and the two units were hung in front of the door as cover.
