Monument to Alfonso XII

Located on the edge of the artificial lake, Alfonso XII attracted many tourists to check in. This is a very important historical figure for the Spaniard. The whole surrounding buildings are basically centered on this.

Not only is it a great place for travelers, but also for the citizens of Madrid. There is an artificial lake, and the magnificent statue on the east bank of the lake is the monument to Alfonso XII. The left and right two statues are the Army image (north side) carved by José Montserrat and the Navy image (south side) carved by Mateo Inurrria. It is also excellent to sit and watch the boating on the lake.

The statue next to the artificial lake is a monument to King Alfonso XII, built in 1922 to commemorate the king who laid the current Spanish political party system through the 1876 constitution.
