Picturesque
This, whilst a smaller version can be appreciated because of the smaller crowds that visit. It also is a quiet and peaceful place where you can look in awe at the giant Buda.
We wisited this on a sunday afternoon and they had a calming guide showing us around, telling us about all the beautiful paintings and statues. Totally worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood!
A pleasant temple in the form of steps, which is characteristic of the temples of the island. Inside everything is very clean. Before entering the temple, take your socks.

Smaller Version
This is the smaller version of the Angurukaramulla Temple, ideally visited as an introduction to what Stupas are.
