426 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War. Sadly it was closed during my visit. Open Monday to Friday 7.00am to 12.00pm and 12.30pm to 3.00pm. Lest we forget.

This is an important cemetery honoring the war dead from the liberation of Rome during World War II. The servicemen interned here are largely from the UK, with some Canadian and South African soldiers...
A chance to reflect
Wonderful opportunity to think of those servicemen and what they did for us. Beautifully kept. If visiting after hours, you can get the combination to the lock from the CWGC which is what we did.

It’s one of the most peaceful places you can find in Rome. Walking distance from Metro stop Piramide. Just across the street from non catholic cemetery.
