Yanwei Mountain Wupao Relic Site

The four existing brick-painted ash forts are all anti-aircraft guns placed on the top of the mountain by troops in the 1950s, and there is a stone ammunition depot. The Yanwei Mountain Wuqiu site is located in the middle of the mountaintop platform, which is a provincial cultural relics protection unit.

When I came to an ecological park in Gulangyu Island, I basically didn't meet tourists. I walked up and saw this fort site built in the Qing Dynasty. There were several abandoned cannons, rusty, and it was the noon gun used for reporting.

There is a less-known Fort site on Gulangyu Island, which was established by Xiamen Customs and is now a provincial cultural relics protection unit in Fujian. In the early days, the ship at sea was guided, and the gun was fired on time at 12 noon every day. It is now abandoned, and the bunker is also covered with green plants. The old ones are full of traces of years. I have been here a few times by chance. The scenery of spring, summer, autumn and winter is different. I forgot which season it is. The bunker is full of white flowers and the petals are full of flowers. The picture is beautiful. Other seasons have their own autumns. There are some benches on the platform. Sitting on the bench, through the shade of the trees, you can see the sea and the ships in the sea in the distance. Away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, basking in the sun here, taking photos is also good, if you are not in a hurry, it is good to bring a book to see. In Gulangyu Island, the Yanwei Mountain Wugong is located on the slope of the Yanwei Ridge, at the top of the Yanwei Mountain Ecological Park. Four military forts were originally retained and are estimated to have been used to control the waterway.
