The minaret of Jiefang South Road Mosque in Baitula Mosque is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, after the chaos of Zhunzuier and the chaos of Zhuozuier and Zhuozhuo in Pingding Xinjiang, the Qing government appointed Emin and Zhuo's son Maosa as the first Aqimu Burke to migrate from southern and eastern Xinjiang to Yilitun in the twenty-seven years (1764), Jianning Yuancheng (now Yining City) Tian's Uighur people. In order to respect the religious beliefs of the Guangda Uighur people who migrated to Yili, the Qing government invested 12 thousand dollars in the treasury and built this grand Jiefang South Road mosque in the center of Ningyuan City in 38 years (1773). The mosque consists of minaret, mountain gate, chapel and chanting hall. Except for the minaret, other buildings have been demolished. The minaret is a three-story double-bossed top wooden pavilion, the architectural style reflects the traditional Chinese architectural style.
