It's about a 10-minute drive from Terminal 2. The minibus was a bit small, which was inconvenient for guests with a lot of luggage. The ground floor is quite spacious, and the front desk staff were nice. The room was surprisingly good, exceeding my expectations and larger than I thought. The facilities are excellent. Breakfast was very substantial, with both Western and Chinese options. Overall experience was good! 👍

Pros: + close to Haikou Meilan Airport + free shuttle bus to the airport (booking needed) + free laundry amenities + hotel breakfast (at Orange Hotel next door) + helpful staff who do try their best to work with what they have Cons: - severely understaffed (only 1 person working at the counter, no bellhops) so check-in was slow in large groups - ageing facilities - sad gym area that doubles as sauna from the heat - in-hotel restaurant and cafe was closed - no aircon in lobby and most spaces - greenhouse effect from glass and heat made everywhere stuffy during daytime - dusty aircon in room, needs servicing protip: as it is scorching in Haikou, please request an extra aircon card from them when you check-in, so you can keep the aircon working to cool the room while you are away. you get what you paid for, but it works!

We stayed in rooms 7603 and 7609. The hotel's location is excellent, and the sea view from the sixth floor is beautiful. The service was also good. The downside is that room 03 had a strong musty smell, and in room 09, we found a small gecko. We called the service hotline, and they quickly helped us remove it, but the hotel really should do a thorough check before guests check in. The facilities are very old; the TV only showed channels and was very laggy, and it only had HDMI input, no screen mirroring functionality. The Bluetooth connection on the phone only played sound, so we just went to sleep. In the evening, we went to a nearby restaurant and tried Wenchang chicken; the coconut chicken was quite crispy, and the steamed chicken was very tender – both are worth trying. We also ordered stir-fried beef because we saw many cows on the way, but the beef was very tough, so I wouldn't recommend it. The coconut rice was also quite delicious. The next morning, we went to a nearby mountain to watch the sunrise, but unfortunately, the clouds were too thick, and we couldn't see it.

Check-in was a breeze! The front desk agent swiftly handled everything while explaining the hotel's amenities, all within two minutes. She even proactively asked about my invoice details. When I extended my stay the next day, the staff member on duty quickly processed it, updating my key card without needing me to re-verify anything. Check-out was just as smooth; the bill was clear, and my invoice was already prepared. I simply handed over my card and left. They even asked about my stay experience, which was a nice touch.

An unexpectedly stunning seaview B&B! 😎 The service was excellent, very accommodating and helpful. They offered water upon arrival, and the room's AC was already on, making it wonderfully cool. Cleanliness-wise, it seemed quite clean, no major issues. The environment was incredibly serene and therapeutic. The balcony offered an unobstructed sea view; you could open the doors completely and gaze directly at the ocean. Even from bed, you could enjoy the sea view, despite the hot and sunny weather. The B&B has a beautiful common swimming pool that guests can use. The open-plan lobby on the first floor is super photogenic and a great spot to relax and watch the sea. There's a laundry room on the top floor with two washing machines (no dryer), but laundry detergent is provided. There are also facilities for hanging clothes, and given the hot summer sun, clothes hung at night were dry by the next morning. A slight inconvenience is that the seaside town where the B&B is located is not accessible by car. If you're driving, you'll need to park in a designated parking lot (40 per day max), walk a few minutes to the tourist shuttle pick-up point, and then take the shuttle to the hotel. This was the only somewhat troublesome part. I booked the Azure Open Terrace Seaview King Room on the fifth floor, which has an elevator. The room's AC was powerful and kept it very cool, and the shower water pressure was decent. The Laifen hairdryer was a great touch. Check-in is at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM. Since it wasn't a holiday, there weren't many people. During the off-season, it was only around 500-600, which is excellent value for money.

I've visited Sanya many times, and if you're not planning on swimming in the ocean, Atlantis Sanya in Haitang Bay is the perfect choice. The waves in Haitang Bay are strong and there are rip currents, so swimming in the sea isn't allowed. However, the hotel offers a waterpark, aquarium, C Show, dolphin encounters, and sea turtle encounters, ensuring your schedule is packed every day. The C Show is complimentary for two during your stay, and all other activities offer unlimited access. Plus, our room came with a butler, Xiaoma, who was always available to help with any issues 👍. During our stay, I lost my ID at the waterpark, and a staff member named Ken found it and contacted me immediately to return it 👍. The hotel has two breakfast restaurants, and the breakfast here is much better than all the hotels in Yalong Bay 👍. All rooms have sea views with an open panorama facing Wuzhizhou Island. The biggest advantage is the high floors, which make swimsuits dry quickly 👍. I love swimming and playing in the water, so I always bring at least two swimsuits. Here, my swimsuit dried in just 30 minutes 👍! Next time, I'll try staying in a Royal Club room...

Not great value for money, and the overall experience was pretty mediocre. The fact that the island was reclaimed from the sea, and the various buildings on it, are quite astonishing, but it's a real shame how many areas are neglected and falling into disuse. With over 5,000 rooms, the hotel had a high occupancy rate during the holiday, making the lobby feel like a chaotic market, packed with people and incredibly noisy. There were significant delays for check-in, and breakfast was practically a free-for-all, with extremely poor food quality. Room cleanliness was terrible; there were scratches all over the walls, and the bed runner was damaged and still had dried food crumbs from the previous guest on it – makes you wonder how long it hadn't been washed. The room itself was tiny, and when I asked for an extra pillow, I was told they didn't have any. We were a family of one adult and two children, both around six years old, but were told we had to purchase an additional child's breakfast, as two small children couldn't count as one adult. For nearly 600 RMB a night, with nothing included, it really wasn't worth it.

This is a high-value courtyard homestay, the overall design of the quiet style, coconut trees, landscape water system, and swimming pool, the environment is quiet and comfortable, the book gallery in the public area, and the arch hall are very stylish The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is also separated from wet and dry, the toiletries are complete, the whole house is intelligently controlled and super convenient, and the lighting and ventilation are very good. His family service is particularly intimate, and the demand response is fast, and the gentleness is like a friend. Convenient travel, convenient parking, not far from eating and shopping around. Cost-effective online, will come next time!

The hotel is located within Tianya Town. Due to town regulations, whether driving or taking a taxi, you can only reach the entrance and then walk in or take a sightseeing buggy. During the day, it's 5 RMB per person, and an extra 1 RMB is added after midnight. We drove there, and Sanya was just a one-night stopover for us before an early morning flight the next day. We weren't aware of the town's regulations beforehand, so when we heard we couldn't drive directly to the hotel, I was a bit uneasy and regretted booking here. However, once we arrived and I saw the sea view from the lobby while checking in, I pretty much forgave the inconvenience of not being able to drive to the door. 😀 Since we were only staying one night, we hadn't booked a sea-view room initially. But after seeing the sea-view rooms next door, we immediately upgraded our room type, which made everything perfect. 😂 The hotel's location is excellent, right on the beach, and there are many dining options nearby. The hotel also has its own sea-view restaurant, and the prices aren't too expensive. The hotel even offers travel photography services, but we didn't have time this trip. During the day, you can do paddleboarding at the beach, and the beach is lively at night. This trip was more of a quick stop to check things out; next time, we'll stay for a few more days to truly enjoy it. Also, a big shout-out to the hotel staff who were very enthusiastic and explained everything clearly. 👍

I first stayed at this hotel in 2012, and it was my first time experiencing a five-star hotel. Now, bringing my child back for a revisit, everything feels both nostalgic and wonderfully re-energized. The hotel room facilities are a bit dated, but they are clean and tidy. The bathroom is spacious, and the double sinks are on opposite sides, which is great because it avoids interference. We chose a high-floor sea-view room, and the scenery is stunning. There's also a large bathtub; soaking in it at night while enjoying the city lights is incredibly relaxing. The hotel environment is quite good, and it's very close to the beach. The ocean water is gorgeous during the day, and at night, many children are out on the tidal flats with flashlights, catching small crabs. The breakfast buffet is quite rich, and it's available until 10:30 AM, which is perfect for late risers. The hotel service is excellent. They proactively assigned us a butler; mine was the lovely Annie. From introducing the hotel's environment, facilities, and dining options, to checking in daily on our stay experience, she even replenished our drinks and fruit daily, not just a one-time supply. When the room's air conditioning felt a bit warm, she immediately arranged for an engineer to fix it. Even as we were leaving, she asked if we needed any assistance. The front desk staff who checked us in were also very professional. All the service staff and employees we encountered along the way greeted us. In short, the hotel stay was comfortable, the atmosphere was great, and it felt very thoughtful. 🌸
