We had the most wonderful experience at C mauritius resort hotel. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mrs Karen the Front Office Manager, Mr. Nevin the receptionist and Bradley the bell boy. The staffs of the hotel were always ready to help and all of them were very friendly. The food and the service were excellent. The room are so big, spacious and well cleaned, the bed was super comfortable and had a good restfull night sleep. We were well served at the bar Andiket was amazing. At the buffet restaurant we were warming welcome by Mr. Jess what a nice man give us all the restaurant information. Nice swimming pool fabulous relaxing corner. The view was a sight to behold and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to spend the dream tropical holidays. We recommend this hotel if you are looking to have best time in Mauritius ❤️❤️
Laguna Beach Hotel & Spa

Ile aux Cerfs Lagoon
We thoroughly enjoyed two weeks at Laguna Beach and found it to be great value on All Inclusive. Sea view double rooms were of a reasonable size, comfortable with attractive bamboo furnishing and well insulated for noise. Food was exceptionally good - a really wide choice of tasty dishes that were changing every day, the local fish being particularly delicious for me. Pancakes in the afternoon became an essential part of the daily routine. The waiters and staff in general are so friendly and helpful, I could not fault them in any way. In fact, the friendly atmosphere at Laguna Beach is one of their strongest assets, as is the local rum! All the drinks you get on the All Inclusive are very good quality, including the cocktails - I couldn't get enough of the Daiquiris. There are a few evening entertainments run by the excellent Kevin,  like a local dance troupe and a very fun karaoke, but this isn't on a daily basis, so isn't too much. Water sports are available and I recommend the views from the parasailing. We did lots of trips from Laguna Beach all over the island and found it to be an excellent base for exploration. I particularly recommend doing a catamaran trip on the West coast - this was idyllic, we got to see dolphins and a family of ***** whales!  A guided tour around the tiny eco island of Ile Aux Aigrettes is a must - I won't forget the giant turtles ... Mauritius is also a hiker's paradise and this is something I wish I had more time for. The scenery and views from Black River Gorges National Park is something special. I do recommend hiring taxi drivers for a day or half day instead of driving yourself - best have someone who knows where all the bad road surfaces are and traffic in some areas can be a bit hectic at rush hours. Some of the drivers have excellent local and historical knowledge, and can act as your guide, not just a driver. There are a few things to be aware of when considering a stay here. It's on the more remote South East side of the island. If you want tourist shops, bars and nightlife then head to the North - this resort is more about peace and quiet. Saying that there is a constant soundtrack of music in the pool / bar area that I could have done without in the daytime, or just turn the volume down a bit.  Being on the East it can get windy, especially in the evening but this was rarely an issue for us.  If you want your hotel to have an amazing beach you should consider an alternative - the section of the beach cordoned off here is very small and everyone used the lovely infinity pool instead.

The hotel is very good and very stylish. The reception department is very professional. Thank you again for Ctrip. Before the trip, there was a problem with the flight. Other tourists on the flight with Ctrip bought the tickets and got a very good arrangement. I bought it on a dragon, and the service was a shit.

My 8 month old baby, my wife and i stayed for 1 night on an all-inclusive. I went there to attend a medical conference. On arrival, we were asked to have a seat at the lobby. The conference was at 2pm and I had to wait till 3pm to get my room. It was like an exhausting wait. Several times, I had to ask the receptionist if my room was ready. At that time, we felt so unwelcomed. The room floor was dirty. One can feel the dirt when you walk bare foot. The fan doesn’t work. The hair dryer doesn’t work. There is no minibar in the room. No bathrobes. No slippers. The TV can only be switched on and off and absolutely no channels playing. A cot was provided for the baby but without blanket to cover. Finally, we all had to share the same blanket on the same bed. At dinner time, we went to the main restaurant and requested to be seated inside as it was cold and windy and we didn’t want our baby to fall sick. But we were told that we had to dine with the conference group which was outside, an opened space on 2 sides. Finally, we were obliged to take a table where it was less windy but next to it was a table with the all the dirty plates, glasses and bottles (see photos). The waiters were just continuously passing by next to us. We could hear them complaining about the complaints of other hotel guests who were dining. The open buffet dinner, breakfast and lunch were very below average. Meal time looks like Mauritian wedding reception ‘chawtari’. You have to queue up to get your food. The next day, after breakfast, we went to our room and found a piece of paper folded in 4 , thrown down outside of our room door. We picked it up and it was all about how they felt a little sad that we are leaving and reminding us the check-out time. At 11:15am, someone knocked at the door and my wife opened just to see a man asking us to leave the room. We left the room in less that 10 mins and I requested the receptionist for assistance to carry our luggage as our room was on the 2nd floor and no lift facilities available. Well, I regret asking for that assistance. Arriving at the reception, I handed out the key at the reception and my luggage still didn’t reach the lobby. To make it worst, my baby had a poop and I felt so embarrassed not knowing what to do. I inquire at the reception about my luggage and I should appreciate the lady who made a call and told me that the luggage will soon arrive. It took almost 40 mins for them to bring my luggage and I had to change the baby diaper in my car, in the car park. We came back for lunch as it was included in our all-inclusive and left immediately after.

Just checked out of ombré after an absolute fabulous 2 weeks, we cannot fault this hotel or the staff, food in all restaurants was excellent especially lunch in the dolce vita. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard, beach staff very attentive offering cold flannels, drinks of choice, ice pops and even sunglasses cleaning. We had regular fun nights at TI bar with all staff constantly filling up your glass. Booked the 5 island boat trip with Chris on the beach, this was I must say the best boat trip we have ever been on and excellent value for money. All I can say is I cannot wait to return.

We would like to thank the managing team and all his staff including the reception team, housekeeping and the restaurant personnel for their exceptional hospitality and assistance. All the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay a very comfortable one. A special thanks to the restaurant team who attended to all our requests without hesitation. We would like to make some positive suggestions for senior citizens and handicapped person. There should be more accessible rooms for wheelchair, available for them. The concrete pathway near the restaurant could be extended up to the sea-side where the senior citizens and those on wheelchair can enjoy the scenic view of the sea.

Its been over a week since we returned from Mauritius and we still have that wholesome buzz lingering. Sea sense Boutique Hotel and Spa was our second stop on our recent holiday (in fact Honeymoon!)….. The location (ie right on the beach) and grounds of the hotel were beautiful. Everywhere is so well kept and idyllic. The biggest triumph for us was the service/people. When we first arrived we felt a bit apprehensive as you see so many people buzzing around from morning through til night its almost hard to remember who is who. But as the holiday went on, these people we see every day soon became friends. People we would look forward to seeing through the day. The team at Seasense are absolutely fantastic and have such a warmth that makes you feel genuinely cared for and welcomed. A big shout out to Sylvana, Aniket, Gerald and Jerome who were a pleasure to be around. You really are great at what you do and worth your weight in gold. We were in the Charm room which was quaint. Overall cleanliness good. Good amenities provided. We had the pleasure of using the spa too which was lovely. Therapists were lovely and very well equipped. Easy to book. Oils they used smelt divine and everything felt so relaxing. The Boathouse is a really lovely touch. Being able to borrow snorkelling gear, Kayaks etc without any worries was a really convenient. Jude (can be found in or around the Boathouse) was always so helpful and another real asset to your team. Food was mostly good. We would have however loved to have seen a bit more Mauritius food/snacks available. Ie fried rice/biryani/noodles/varying salads. One really minor bugbear/running joke we had was the chefs insistent use of meringue, sugar daisies and jellylike substance on nearly every dessert we had included in the Half Board. Without these – not bad at all! Breakfast - TOAST! A toaster with sliced bread would be amazing but otherwise a good selection already available. We would absolutely love to come back, so its not goodbye, its see you again soon! Laura and Michael
