Tanjung Tokong Point Residences is a lovely place to stay, offering great value for money with its affordable pricing. The entire unit is clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciate the cozy atmosphere, which makes it feel like a home away from home. However, one minor drawback is that the lift can be quite slow, and the toilet amenities are somewhat limited. Despite these small issues, the overall experience is still very positive. It is a superb and pleasant place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

THE MOST AMAZING HOTE I HAVE EVER STAYED IN 10/10 1. Hotel Locaiton: Perfect as its not in the city and by the beach, amazing for relaxation. Hotel is surrounded by souvenir shops and street food. 10miute walk from Ferringhi Walk where there is a nice selection of street food but my favourite of all is that its just a 2 minute walk from my favorite restaurant in Malaysia, Ferringhi Garden. Penang trip isnt complete without going to Ferringhi Garden. Its an amazing restaurant with the most beautiful collection of plants, there is no other place like it in Malaysia. 2. The Hotel: Nothing bad to say about it. The design, the decor, everything about this hotel makes me want to stay there even longer. Its such a nice feeling being there. Facilities are clean and complete. 3. The Room: CLEAN. NICE. SPACIOUS. BEAUTIFUL. Every inch of the room is to my liking, i could not have asked for more. Mattress is thick and oh so comfortable. Aircond was cold. Room was very spacious. 4.The Buffet: The room came with breakfast for 2 and it was the perfect buffet to start each day with. Selection was incredible even better than a lot of buffet Ramadan Ive been to. They had everything from selections of breads, to nasi lemak with 12 different sambals, 5 different meat dishes to eat it with, assorted fruits, assorted cheeses, 2 types of porridge with the FULL suites of condiments, salads, pastries, roti canai with all the curries you will ever need, to your above average selection of continental breakfast menus like, beef bacon, beef and chicken sausages, hash browns, deli meats, smoked fish. And there is more! there is a made-to-order menu which many patrons are not aware of. I tried the minute steak and it was good!(pictured below) PS: Hakimi from breakfast service was spectacular, I requested strawberries for my picky 2 year old and he delivered. On the other hand, ANIS FROM THE OMELETTE STATION WAS RUDE TO MY WIFE, SHE NEEDS TO IMPROVE HER SOCIAL SKILLS(this is my one and only complain) Overall my stay was 10/10 and this will be the ONLY hotel i will be staying at if when im at Batu Ferringhi. I plan to go to Park Royal Batu Ferringhi Annually, its just that good!

I just stayed for one night. Which was enough for me. Be aware this is not part of the official Rainbow Resort Hotel. Upon seeing my confirmation, the receptionist told me my room was an Airbnb. The building is a hotel as well private rooms that are rented out. The room itself was very spacious, 70 sqm with one bedroom and a living space. It had obviously been repainted recently (it smelt a fresh paint) so the walls were clean. Air conditioning and basic amenities were provided. The building itself, has seen a lot of wear and tear. If you’re on a budget and want a spacious room it will meet your needs. For the price I think it’s quite reasonable if you’re there for a short stay. The hotel is next to a beach, and a swimming pool downstairs. There a few restaurants across the road.

We were treated to warm, delicious cookies upon arrival and were allowed to check in at 11am, which was a pleasant surprise to us. Everything is within walking distance and located right next to the night market, you'd be in for a treat for local delights, such as the famoua char kway teow and lor bak stalls. The room is clean with a good view of the city. The gym is small, but is well-maintained and equipped with a variety of equipment. Quite a lovely hotel.

I booked a sea-view room right next to Gurney Drive. It was convenient to grab a meal downstairs, and the breakfast was excellent. The pool is on the second floor and open until 8 PM, but it gets no sun after 4 PM. A dip in the pool was perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The service was superb and very attentive.

The rooms are new and well-equipped, with a pool and gym. The breakfast is more Western-style, with not a huge selection, but it's enough. The dining environment is excellent with beautiful sea views! On the downside, none of the front desk or service staff speak Chinese, and communication can be an issue if your English isn't great. For example, when we asked for more water, their 'Indian English' was completely incomprehensible! It's also about 8km from George Town, so transportation isn't very convenient. You'll also need a taxi to get to the best sunset beach.

My bedroom wad super noisy, next to a road, I could hear the trafic all day long. It was better during the night. The management gave me a quiet bedroom me for my second night as it was full for the first night. The court was dirty but they sent someone to clean it, change the bedsheet with stains and repair the broken tap. The bottles of shower soap are tricky as the straw is too short. The bathroom can be locked from outside as you can see on pictures. There are 2 marts next door, thai food and rôti stall. The bedroom doesn't look like the pictures I saw on the page.

We had a good stay at Flamingo Hotel by The Beach Penang. The hotel is very beautiful, and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was also good. All the staff were nice except for one person named mr Li. He was not friendly during check-in, and I happened to meet the same person again during check-out. He looked very bossy, double standard and unfriendly. I would recommend sending him for hospitality training, especially for front office service. Other than that, everything was good and we had a pleasant stay there….

We had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Penang for 3 days and 2 nights while accompanying my husband on his outstation trip. Everything was excellent! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in was smooth with the signature warm cookie as a nice welcome touch. We loved the facilities, especially the swimming pool, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. Breakfast was also delicious with a good variety of options. Highly recommended, and we would definitely come back again!

I was upgraded to a Deluxe room but it was at the extreme corner next to the service staircase. Grateful for the upgraded but the room conditions were not up to par . Hair in shower room , the shower holder fell when I was taking it out and it dropped on my toe . Hence the blue black toe shown ( hehe ) . I could not sleep the whole night as the air con was very very noisy even when I lower the adjustment. The day curtain was torn . I sound it out to reception the next morning to see whether they can change my room as I was staying for another 2 nights . They did and I reckoned it was another up grade as now the room has a standing shower room . In the other previous room , you have to stand in the bath tub to shower and for a man of 65 , it is a bit tricky . The hotel really needs an up grade too . It is in a good location and CAT bus is nearby . The CAT shuttle is a complimentary bus that moves around the town area . The saving grace for my trip was that the staff was up to par and reacted quickly . Well done on this . Now , I wait for my toe to heal .

Ssj91this hotel is good overall, but when we arrived, they told us that we didn't have a booking with them and they couldn't locate our booking and details. the room was also said to be taken, and they are waiting for a cancellation in order to get our room. There is a lot of confusion among staff. some visitors were told to leave their rooms once they have entered. we waiting 1 hr 30 min to get our room. so check in was at 4.30pm. parking was also very inconvenient, as we had to park at the basement, which was impossible to even get one if you came into the hotel late and a T&G card was also needed to get validated before leaving the hotel if we wanted a free spot. Room was very spacious and clean. the tea and coffee was hard like its never been changed.

TTini88We were a bit nervous after reading the reviews online but we had a really excellent stay. The rooms were super clean and modern with a beautiful sea view and the bed was really comfortable. The rooms had a kettle with teas, a hairdryer and iron and the shower was lovely and hot. Great AC too. The pool was lovely with a beautiful view of the sea and very nice and peaceful. The location was also great with a huge food market right opposite. Overall a really lovely stay

GGuest UserThe gardens and beach were beautiful, and I spent most of my time swimming and lounging outdoors, which was very comfortable and pleasant. I even saw some large monitor lizards. The gardens at the Rasa Sayang were even prettier. The room itself was very old, as it's a hotel from 1995. There were large cockroaches in the bathroom. I hope they can renovate and improve it. During my Easter stay, it wasn't too crowded, and I didn't experience the noise from the mosque or children that some online reviews mentioned. However, I was assigned a room on the second floor, and the activity room on the first floor had singing and performances all day, which was quite noisy. I recommend requesting a higher floor. The restaurants at both Golden Sands and Rasa Sayang were very bad; I don't recommend trying them. It's an hour's drive from George Town and Penang Hill, but closer to the Spice Garden (which is quite small) and the National Park. It's suitable for a two-day stay to relax at the hotel before moving on to George Town.

JJRwondermomIts kinda late for this review but worth sharing our experience here on Bayview.Beach Resort Penang last Jan2026. Its our first time here in Penang so I choose Bayview for 4days stay. I just read reviews and Location before booking this hotel and I think it's great (as per other guests reviews)also the price was really fits on our budget. We are not very picky as a family of 3 whose always commuting and trying new places here in Malaysia. Its so easy to commute and ride grab taxi. Upon arrival, I feel the warmth and friendliness of the staffs in the customer service. Super easy to check-in took only less than 5mins . Then, after giving the keys and room assign to us,we proceed to their unique elevator. .the hotel as per other guest reviews kinda outdated.but still nice for me. The cleanliness and ambiance was more important to us. The room was big, clean and cozy. We are on city view,so we never try the veranda. We have a free breakfast included in our booking. There are so many selections. Unli coffee ☕️ food was good 😋 The restaurant supervisor and staffs was friendly. Even give us free breakfast for our special son who is picky eater.thank you we really appreciate it🙏😘 The hotel is beachfront and has its own swimming pool. Try walking on the beach with barefoot and the sand won't hurt your feet with the fine golden / tan sand . Don't forget to go ferringhi heart and watch the *fire dance show at night. also watch sunset 🌇 you can also watch band and have some dinner there. There are so many restaurants around the area. You may want to try *Pak Mid Cafe (infront of the hotel),good food and affordable too. We also visit the Georgetown,World heritage Site, see street art ,churches, temple, and many more We just book grab taxi for our convenience but you can ride bus.btw, they have free bus in Georgetown which will tour you around the area, yes it's free😉 Overall experience for 4days here on Bayview Beach Resort was really great. We'll definitely come back and refer this hotel to our friends. Thank you so much staffs and admin of Bayview hotel for being friendly and accommodating specially on PWD. Keep it up 😘

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent. There's a mall right downstairs, making shopping and dining super convenient. It's also close to other tourist attractions, and getting a taxi is quick and easy! We even ran into Chinese celebrity Huang Xiaoming and others promoting a movie at Gurney Plaza during our stay.

LLanz0Thank you Mercure Beach Hotel for making my request come true and giving my child a birthday surprise this year. The hotel has a really beautiful sea view. The beach is well maintained even though it’s not that big. The room is clean and honestly, the pillows are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Even though it’s close to the main road, the room is well soundproofed. Only downside, the water pressure is a bit low. The soap & shampoo are Made in Italy and smell really nice. I was quite surprised with the breakfast menu, this is my first time seeing a hotel serve spaghetti, and I forgot the name of the beef dish (the one in the picture), but it was really good! The food was nicely seasoned, not too salty. There’s also quite a good variety of food and drinks. Definitely will repeat again one day 👍

GGuest UserI found out about this hotel, part of the Marriott brand, through the TV show 'Outbound Love'. It has a colonial Nanyang style, and while it's not a huge property, it's very refined. The suite has a separate room with a double bed. The pool is clean and there's a kids' pool too. Overall, the room was clean and the bedding was tidy. The breakfast isn't super extensive, but the rice noodles and Teh Tarik (pulled tea) were excellent. There was a welcome drink, and the service was warm and attentive, though I had trouble getting through to housekeeping by phone. The beach isn't owned by the hotel, and while there are boats, it's not ideal for swimming. The area around is very convenient with food options and a supermarket. The Shangri-La is right next door, and there's a mosque nearby, so you can hear the prayers clearly. My room faced the street, and I could hear motorcycles at night.
