Enjoyed my at this hotel which is located at the heart of Qinhuai scenic area. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Hou Xiaoqin (候晓庆）was so nice and helpful to help switch rooms today, I really appreciate her help. When visiting Nanjing next time, I will stay here again🌾

A historic state guesthouse with deep cultural heritage and excellent service. Seeing that I was checking in alone, the front desk kindly upgraded my room to the Chiang Kai-shek Residence (Building 7, Lixi Pavilion). Upon check-in, I was also given a complimentary guided tour of the gardens. The lovely guide, Xiaoting, gave a vivid and engaging tour that left a wonderful impression on me. Additionally, the on-site delivery option, Nanfu Shiji, was quite good. Before wrapping up my trip, I packed some hairy crabs, smoked fish, osmanthus cake, and Suzhou-style braised duck to take home and share with my family.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the old town of Guoching Road in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, next to Pishi Street. There are plenty of food options and convenience stores nearby. I booked a courtyard room, which was quite quiet. The staff were very polite, but my takeaways weren't delivered to my room multiple times, which needs improvement. There are no electric scooters at the entrance, so it's a bit of a walk to Dongguan Street. Occasionally, there are a few electric scooters, but they're quite old. The laundry room was clean, and the cleaning staff were also very polite. The hotel proactively sent out Yangzhou travel guides and recommended shops, though I had a bit of trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi the first time.

The location was excellent. It’s on an island right in the city centre, but the area is surprisingly quiet in the evening. It’s very convenient for taking a walk, exploring the area, or going shopping. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service was great throughout our stay. The room felt more like a resort than a typical city hotel, with nice facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. We had a garden view, which was beautiful and felt very traditional and authentic. I especially loved the smell of the flowers in the garden. I also used the swimming pool during my stay. The lady working there told me that guests could also use the larger swimming pool nearby with their hotel room card, which was a really nice bonus. The gym is quite small and doesn’t have a lot of equipment, so it could be improved. The breakfast, however, was very tasty, especially the local noodle dishes. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place in the city centre.

Pros: ・Excellent location, right on Shantang Street scenic area. ・Charming, retro-style hotel with its own courtyard and beautiful views. ・Staff were very friendly and welcoming. ・The room's slippers and toiletries were very refined. Cons: ・Room facilities felt a bit dated. The set-top box connection was loose, and the TV wouldn't display anything. After a lot of fiddling and trying to unplug and replug the HDMI cable, it finally worked. ・Couldn't get the air conditioning right in the Sheng Yuan room (second floor). Even after trying several times before checking out, it seemed like the touch panel in the living room controlled the bedroom's AC, and the bedroom's panel controlled the living room's AC... I've already reported this to the butler, and they said they'd check it out.

Service: I stayed here during the May Day holiday. The front desk contacted me in advance to confirm my estimated arrival time and proactively helped me with my luggage to the parking lot. After a brief chat, my booked courtyard room was upgraded for free to a third-floor river-view king room. The Qinhuai River was right outside the balcony door of the living room. The staff also kindly informed me of the best viewing times and explained all the room's amenities. Environment: The hotel's location is excellent, peaceful yet central. The room was meticulously clean, and the public areas were bright and tidy. Value-added services: The minibar offered complimentary drinks, snacks, and two facial masks. The public area on the first floor provided a variety of traditional Chinese clothing for guests to use for free photos, including Hanfu, horse-face skirts, and qipaos. They were varied, clean, and suitable for women of all sizes. Breakfast: Breakfast was a semi-buffet, featuring the hotel's special noodles and Nanjing's local pastries and cold dishes, all quite rich and delicious.

When I came to Suzhou, I chose to stay at Moyuan. I considered the location, environment, dining, and service, and after my stay, I'm extremely satisfied. I definitely have to give it a five-star rating. Let me elaborate: Location: It's right in the center of Pingjiang Road, which is incredibly convenient for a night stroll. It's also not far from Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, Suzhou Museum, and Guanqian Street. Environment: Although it's a B&B, it's much better than a typical hotel. Moyuan itself is a garden, with five courtyards, and only 12 rooms in total. Each room is exquisite and comes with its own courtyard. How could one not feel relaxed staying here? It's perfect for taking photos, and you don't have to deal with the crowds at tourist attractions. Dining: This is a B&B where even the breakfast includes shark fin soup, regardless of the room price. The breakfast spread is very rich. Dinner is even better; the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The noodle dishes offer the best value for money, and the hand-peeled river shrimp are super delicious. Plus, you can enjoy Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) while you dine! There's also a separate small cafe for milk tea and snacks, perfect for chatting or working. Service: The service is truly exceptional. A day before check-in, a butler contacted me. On the day of arrival, the butler sent the location, and you just need to take a taxi near the B&B, and a sightseeing cart will pick you up (cars cannot access Pingjiang Road itself). After check-in, you can contact the butler with any questions, and they respond promptly. You can even ask the butler for recommendations on where to eat and shop on Pingjiang Road. Food, including afternoon tea, can be delivered to your room, which I absolutely loved. We even got a room upgrade upon check-in. The overall experience was simply perfect. I took many photos to remember the stay, and I've already recommended it to my friends. I wish Moyuan all the best and continued success!

I found this hotel nearby when I went to the Olympic Sports Center for that Weibo event! A dedicated staff member helped me with my luggage from the parking lot and even took it to my room! It's a charming hotel I've never stayed at before, truly excellent. The front desk lady was very friendly, and the room was exceptionally spacious and had an antique feel! There was even a Dyson hairdryer. I was very satisfied with my stay. Finally, when I checked out, they also helped me with my luggage all the way to my car! 👍

The overall environment and facilities are pretty good, definitely commendable. The staff provided quality service even during the Spring Festival, which is great. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's hardware is a bit old; the air conditioning unit is quite bulky, and when the bathroom's ceiling and wall lights are on at the same time, there's a noticeable and jarring electrical buzzing sound. I hope they can improve this in the future. The kids' play area is fantastic. Overall, it's worth recommending.

I was very satisfied with this stay! The room was very clean, odor-free, and had excellent lighting and ventilation. The bed was just the right firmness, ensuring a very restful sleep. The front desk staff were polite and attentive, and handled issues efficiently. The environment was quiet, and it was convenient for dining and shopping nearby. Overall, it offered great value for money and I'd highly recommend it to everyone.
