Hilton Prague Old Town
"Somehow there was a mix-up with our booking via Trip.com where they were unaware that our booking includes 2 kids and hence a sofa-bed. This was however, immediately rectified by customer service. The breakfast was amazing (even had porridge to cater to Asian guests!). The location is also great where you are only 10min away from Old Town. For shisha / hookah lovers, there is a great cafe which is a 4mins walk right behind the hotel. This is highly recommended."

Hotel Suite Home Prague
"The stay was really great overall! All the staff were very friendly and helpful, including the breakfast staff and reception. The room was spacious, and the balcony was lovely. Hotel Ambiance
"ONE WORD OF WARNING (not about the hotel)..... Prague is an expensive city....seeing a bottle of water for 29 czh turns out to be £1.09 thought I was getting a good deal lol. The ambiance hotel phara was clean, safe and the mattress was soooo comfy but the only thing that let it down was the TV in the room.... It's a small complaint but we had one channel in English and unfortunately it was MTV... The remote was only a channel up and down and volume oh and a power button, we take our fire stick with us on every holiday for entertainment of a night but we could not connect it as it was not the proper remote as I said it's a small matter but being disabled and not one for going out at night it irked us a little. But overall our say was one we will never forget.... Transport links are spot on and very frequent, the staff of the hotel gave us recommendations for places to go. The only down side to our room was we were on the 7th floor and there was a staircase cutting the corner of the room at one side. On more than one occasion I stood up getting out of bed during the night and banged my head off the slanted ceiling.... I was half asleep so not my fault lol."

Prague Hotels: Where to Stay in New Town, Wenceslas Square & Vinohrady
About Prague
Prague is nicknamed the "City of a Hundred Spires" for its skyline of Gothic and Baroque church towers piercing the cityscape. At its center, Prague Castle holds the Guinness World Record as the largest ancient castle in the world, a sprawling complex of palaces, churches, and gardens that has served as the seat of power for Bohemian kings, Holy Roman Emperors, and Czech presidents since the 9th century. Down along the Vltava River, the 14th-century Charles Bridge connects Old Town to Lesser Town with 30 Baroque statues lining its span, while over in Old Town Square the Astronomical Clock, installed in 1410 and still the oldest operating astronomical clock anywhere, puts on an hourly animated show that draws crowds year-round.

Prague Travel Essentials
Entry Requirements
- U.S. citizens do not need a tourist visa for the Czech Republic for stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period; the country is in the Schengen Area.
- Starting in late 2026, the ETIAS travel authorization becomes mandatory for visa-exempt travelers entering the Czech Republic: EUR 20 fee, valid for 3 years or until your passport expires.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area, and Czech border officials may ask to see proof of accommodation, a return or onward travel ticket, and proof of sufficient funds upon entry.
Weather and Seasonality
- Prague's attractions operate on a two-season schedule: extended hours from April through October, reduced hours from November through March, reflecting the city's temperate climate.
- Winters are cold with snow; Christmas Eve is a major celebration with Czech families gathering, mulled wine at holiday markets along the Vltava River, and TV fairy tales.
- Round-trip flights to the Czech Republic range from USD 600 to USD 1,200 depending on season, with April through October as the peak tourist window and November through March bringing lower fares.
※ Prices and policies vary by season and are subject to change. Confirm with official sources before booking.
