Fire at this price. There is air conditioning and hot water

This resort deliver value for money above expectations. I especially noted the fly sheet roof above the pool. Highly appreciated in the sun. The rooms are clean and well maintained. At arrival we had 50m from port to hotel and we were met with a fresh coconut to drink. Again an appreciated item. Level of service was all the time very high. This is not a huge resort which gives a closer relation between gunsts and the people working at the resort. Would happily select the same place of going to Gili Meno again.

By now you’ve probably looked at reviews and all the stunning online photos—as we did. And you’re probably imagining a lush, beautiful, active lifestyle boutique resort with healthy Ayurvedic food, surf beaches lapping the shore and a yoga studio. This image couldn’t be more wrong. Picture instead a bus stop from the 1960’s on the side of a disused road. This is the feel of the entry restaurant that sits atop a largely arid hillside with none of the lovely plants pictured on the site. There were a couple of palm trees over dying grass, concrete and sand. The photos are so far from the reality that we thought the place was abandoned long ago—and perhaps taken over by squatters who thought they could make a fast buck. We were honestly frightened by what might happen next. While it does indeed seem to be a hotel, the photos and descriptions are so far from reality that we walked around in a stupor trying to sort out the cognitive dissonance. Could it be that the resort that constantly touts itself as a yoga surf resort might have neither yoga nor surf? Not even a real beach? No….couldn’t be. Right? The owner kept asking us what we expected to find and the truth was that the photos were so far from reality that it was hard to even know where to begin. We said we expected a private beach-so he pointed to a fabricated sandy area roughly the side of two kids sandboxes with a metal fence around it. We expected five surf beaches—instead there isn’t any sandy beach at all and the surf spots are accessed by boat for a few. We expected yoga—he assured us there is yoga (though it’s hard to see where he could be hiding it) and other reviewers say the yoga consists of a mat and a spot to practice on your own. We expected plants and trees and a hang out area by the pool. Instead the large pool was empty and the little ones were so full of algae that I wondered whether the “EcoResort” was gathering carbon credits off the green pool growth. It’s a very good thing that we didn’t pay in advance, since we were able to pay only a day’s rate and leave quickly. But the place is so remote that we literally lost five hours of vacation getting there, touring it and getting back to where we started. Not to mention enough money that we could have stayed at a luxury hotel on the island for the amount we tossed away in a rush to leave. The owner was kind enough to offer us tea and let us use his wifi to find another hotel—a kindness we very much appreciated—but our anger grew when we finally settled at a lovely hotel and compared our photos with the ones online. What an utter misrepresentation. We’re uploading the photos here—the one with sand under the shadow of a palm tree and a metal fence—THAT is the beach. We both nearly died laughing when he pointed it out, but the owner was clearly upset and we were just trying to get out without a massive conflict. Zoom in on the pool with water in it (as opposed to the one they were filling with a garden hose) and you might get a sens

Loved our stay here. We stayed in both the 2 bedroom villa and a pool side villa. The 2 bed villa is quiet, spacious, modern and clean. It has great facilities including smart TVs, a large fridge & a small private pool. The beds in both villas were super comfy & large. Once we got the room temperature right by adjusting the aircon & fan to our taste (not so cold!) sleeping was divine. The pool was amazing and regularly cleaned. We like to be able to get in the shade besides the pool and managed to for a few days, until others had the same idea - the lovely pool sun shades unfortunately aren't affective as they can't cover the loungers. Luckily most people love to sun bake. It's lovely too to be able to walk across to the beach and swim or snorkel at high tide, or chill out in the beach chairs. We thought the food was delicious and very reasonably priced (comes from next door but no complaints from us). They seemed to be onto maintenance issues, however the bathroom door in the poolside villa was broken & couldn't be shut properly meaning the air con wasn't working efficiently unless we tied it up with a luggage strap. Me & my boyfriend just came for breakfast here as the prices are super reasonable & we were so well looked after. The staff were lovely & so friendly & catered to our every need. We both had scrambled eggs on toast which also has some veg mixed in which is a nice touch & we ordered a tea with milk which were so yummy (which is hard to come by in Indonesia!) The tea was 10k & the scrambled eggs was 30k so it was amazing value. Recommend this spot for breakfast when in Gili T!

The breakfast is very good. It is not a buffet. It is a staple food and a drink in each room. The chef is really attentive. The hotel seems to have only four rooms, two minutes to the beach, and there are many restaurants in about five minutes' walk. It was just right, very convenient and not noisy. The waiters are very enthusiastic and responsive, helping us rent motorbikes and find surf instructors

The Wisma Bunda is a minimum place, very close to the center (a walk), it is the couple that manages the structure is super nice and available. The hotel is old but we found the clean room, unlike other places that Bali and Lombok leave a lot to desire. The bathroom with shower is outdoor but private, I was very good, I would return now. Excellent quality/price ratio (16 euro per night for a double) Recommended

The resort was great! Very nice and especially clean rooms, bed was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was really delicious and besides that also very cheap. They owe the 5 stars to everything, but especially the staff, super nice people and helped me with everything.

For entry, maybe a slippers could be added in the room. Because when you come from home, the shoes are going to the lobby, even the shoes are a bit tight. If you want to get this, you have to bring your own fucking slippers.

The scenery is superb. It was already at night, and I was going to climb the mountain the next day, so I didn’t see the hotel during the day. But the hotel at night is very beautiful! Unfortunately, the sanitation is generally the same, the facilities are very old, and the airport is coming for three hours.

This is a massive improvement from where I was staying elsewhere on Gili T. The Aircon and swimming pool are lovely. The breakfast is a limited choice of pancake or eggs with toast. You get what you pay for but I think in this instance it's mostly high quality. They even had a lonely planet to read.

I admit I have difficulty in understanding some comments that do not correspond to the reality even if the cafards are legions in Asia and if there may be dust behind the tables, and I have not demonted the ceiling. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.

We had the loveliest stay here during our time at Gili T. The team here is fantastic and really looked after us. My friend was poorly during our stay and Tan and Gun were amazing at ensuring we were both okay. The villa is small and cosy and the rooms have everything you need. I could not recommend this hotel enough. Thanks again to the team for the care we received during our stay.

Melati was great! The people are beautiful & very helpful. They have the best fresh coconuts which they keep cold in the fridge. The breakfast included is simple but yummy. The bungalows are simple but clean & very comfortable. We were able to rent bikes through them for a reasonable price & they were happy for us to keep them the whole time & pay at the end. Location wise they are further up the main road with a lovely section of beach where they have their sun chairs & snorkeling gear available. You can’t see the bungalows from the road as they are back behind the little shopfront & a space where there is some building happening- but there was no noise to worry about. Just keep an eye out for the Melati sign when you arrive, as it is not a big sign.
