We put in LVP flooring, new paint, new granite and newly renovated bathrooms. Although considered a convertible 1 bedroom unit, we have enclosed the second bedroom with a door for privacy. It has a nice twin/full bunk bed (see photo). Perfect for the kids!New renovations/updates include new LVP flooring, newly renovated bathrooms, nice furniture and bedding, fresh paint, new granite with tile backsplash in kitchen and flat screen HD TV's. We have also added crown molding to dress up the condo. Being a 3rd floor condo allows for the best views of the ocean from your balcony. It has a King bed in the master bedroom with a luxurious mattress for a great night's sleep. In the second bedroom there is a Twin/Full size BUNK bed. The complex is the best one on the beach with a 150' Waterslide, indoor pool with jacuzzi area built in, large outdoor pool, 2 hot tubs, miniature golf course, basketball court, tennis court and ping pong! The complex also has both gas and charcoal grills for great cookouts for family and friends. The master bedroom has a private bath with tub/shower combo. it has a flat screen 40" HD Roku TV. The second bedroom offers a twin over full bunk bed which is perfect for kids. The living room has nice queen sleeper sofa with a 40' flat screen HD TV with a Blu-ray player and free Wi-Fi. This unit sleeps 6 comfortably. The galley kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, utensils and a Keurig combo coffee maker that does traditional coffee and K pods. There is also a dining table with 6 chairs. Amenities galore at this complex. This is an awesome family resort with awesome amenities and easy access to the beach. Just to mention a couple titles from the review page, "Totally awesome," "beautiful home for a large family," "Perfect retreat," "Beautiful beach home in a Fun location." I think you will find our beach home to be your home away from home and that's our goal! In fact one renter called it "home away from home!" This is a Large, Beautiful, 6 bedroom, and 5 bathrooms on the sound. The 4th floor sleeps 4 and has a large sitting room with a HUGE TV--the kids will never leave! The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms including the king master with high ceilings and amazing views. The second floor has one bedroom and the rest is living space. The family room is open to the kitchen and a large eating area with great sound views and a deck right off this space. The house will easily handle 12 people. We recently added a 4/5 person hot tub. The family room has a fireplace for colder weather. One guest commented "the house was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious and well lit. It easily accommodated my family of 10+." This Sound View house looks straight at Morehead City. According to one guest, "we had everything we needed for making meals." Wake up in the Master bedroom and look right out into the sound--great way to start your day. You won't want to leave.. Walking to Beach, Shopping, restaurants & Bars. Our community is called The Cottages at Bay Ridge and located between Atlantic Stations Shopping Center and the Atlantic Beach Post Office, our coastal community offers all the amenities and privacy that waterfront living deserves! According to a guest, "great house in a great neighborhood." We are a sound front community with great access to fishing, crabbing, kayaking and bird watching. We have a beautiful gradual entry pool. This is a wonderful amenity with elevated viewing area and plenty of shade for when it gets too hot in the sun. There is a half mile elevated wooden boardwalk which leads to the covered gazebo on our private island in the sound. This is great for picnics and fishing and watching the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Many guests commented that the host was easily accessible, accommodating and outstanding! I think anyone would agree when renting you want quick answers and we will give you that! Just read the reviews for this beautiful five bedroom, five and one-half baths with expansive sound views. Our goal is to make this vacation one to remember and the reviews reflect it!The 4th floor has a bonus room as well as king bedroom and bath. The views are incredible! The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms (king, queen, twin) and 3 baths and some have views of the sound. The 2nd floor has a living room, dining room and kitchen with counter seating. There is a porch and deck off this space for bird watching and looking at spectacular sunsets! The king bedroom offers sounds views and a large bath. There is a half bath on this floor. The first floor has a two car garage with a Nema 14-50 for charging electric vehicles. There is also an elevator. There are many reasons you may be content to stay inside but you also have great options to get outside and enjoy everything Cottages at Bay Ridge in Atlantic Beach has to offer. The boardwalk (approximately one-third mile and right next to our home) which leads to a covered gazebo on our private island on the sound. Fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, or picnicking are all possibilities while enjoying the outdoor beauty. You are in walking distance to shopping, pool, restaurants, bars and grocery store. Get wild and wet at the bumper boats or water slides. The intercoastal waterway is located right behind the facility where you can sit in the gazebo or outdoor swing and watch the boats go by.
