We stayed for 3 nights at Microtel by Wyndham Baguio which is located near SM Baguio mall. Camp John hay is not that far from the property through a car. Hotel service was good right from finding a parking slot to arranging some of our requirements. Facility and hotel is average considering the price we paid per night. Food options were extremely limited and was not something all foreign travelers will like or love. Unfortunately, we found egg shells in the scrambled egg served during the buffet breakfast. If one is travelling with an infant, nothing much available in or around the property. There is a bus depot right next to the hotel which was busy all 3 nights leading to whistle blowing sound whole night, was disturbing for us as we had an infant with us.From€47

There’s just some issue in terms of the response time of the staff, when requests were not catered immediately. The road going to the hotel is also under repair that’s kinda hassle. The hotel location is very nice, we were able to walk around Burnham Park in the morning, and the view is also nice. The breakfast is ok, and could have been perfect if the food is hot/warm. My only concern would be the facilities... The aircon is not as cold as we wanted to, and this is probably because a lot of hotels in Baguio does not have AC due to the cold weather. But when we visited, it was too warm already. They also dont have any electric fans. The comfort room smelled like mold, and the hot/cold shower is not working as well. The good thing is when we asked the front desk staff for assistance, they immediately helped and sent the maintenance staff for assistance. Overall, we enjoyed our trip in Baguio, but will probably consider other hotels instead.From€52

I would like to thank the staff for being so very helpful to my girlfriend and her relatives, for sorting out her triage for her medical to come to australia. There were a few things that she needed to do and the staff were on to this. So many thanks for you kind help. They enjoyed their stay and had a good few days courtesy of my wallet haha. Everything was fine and great. Staff were very nice with good services. Location is great, easy to reach the main touristy spots. There was renovation during my stay, so heard some noise but not a big deal. The sound proof was considered okay. Very tiny noise from the renovation I heard and also when people passed by the corridor and talking.
There was no separation between the shower and toilet bowl, but the shower water was hot enough. There was also water dispenser for you to refill water and provided with their glass jar, which is great! Overall, I had a good stay!From€28

If you’re traveling with family or a big group, this Manhattan hotel is actually a good option. The rooms are genuinely spacious and can accommodate up to 10 people, which is rare in NYC.
⚠️ Heads-up though: We had a small inconvenience with the Trip.com website as some of the information provided was incorrect. Good thing the issue was resolved and the refund is already in process. Lesson learned—call the hotel directly right after booking to confirm all details and avoid any awkward or humiliating moments during check-in.

This hotel has some good points:
1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests.
2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area.
3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool.
However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas:
1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience.
2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved.
3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted.
4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service.
We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.From€84

The picture of the room I selected showed a double bed. The mention said you could get either one on arrival...a double bed or a single bunk bed.
But that is not true. The price for the room I selected was for a single bunk bed only. This is what we were told after arrving. The double bed was P200 extra a night. We paid but complained at Trip.com. We got P400 credit for the next booking. How to call this practice from the hotel? Not honest. Advertising something that is not true. I will make sure Trip.com
change that.

This is our second stay at the log cabin, with the first one being a delightful experience in Q4 of 2017. This time, we booked the Pine Suite, which impressed us with its amenities and a terrace overlooking the Botanical Garden.
While the log cabin itself seemed a bit older, I appreciate the exclusive parking at the front lobby.
The free breakfast buffet was a bit of a letdown, so we opted out after the first try.

We returned hoping for improvements after our last critical review, but found significant service failures persist. Management must urgently address these issues before our planned January visit.
* Room Welcome: Cookies appreciated, but a Baguio Rose flower stalk would be a more meaningful gesture.
* Housekeeping: Towels placed on the floor for replacement were simply re-hung; we had to call for clean ones.
* Front Desk: Only one staff member on duty led to three unanswered calls at night. This poses a serious safety risk in an emergency.
* Food (Breakfast): HORRIBLE quality. The buffet lacked creativity, was visually unappetizing, and items like the sausage were inedible. The Chef needs immediate supervision.

Honest Review
The front desks and security guards were very accommodating, the room is fine, there is no view, it's only a wall from the building beside. However, the room is located at 6th floor and it's clean and a good place to sleep and stay. There's a blower, refrigerator, microwave, Tv and the wifi connection is good. Initially the hot shower is not functioning, needed to call the maintenance to turn on the main switch since we didn't know the main problem. The keycard also is a bit disappointing coz it's not working on elavator, needed to call some assistance everytime we needed to go upstairs.From€31

Our stay at The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay was truly pleasant. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, surrounded by pine trees and cool mountain air. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were courteous and accommodating, making sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable.
Its location within Camp John Hay made it easy to explore nearby restaurants and attractions while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Baguio.

Although it may seem like an old hotel, it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and I felt the kindness of the people of Baguio. The only downside was that the shower water was a little cold.

Hotel service was good right from finding a parking slot to arranging some of our requirements. Facility and hotel is average considering the price we paid per night. Food options were extremely limited and was not something all foreign travelers will like or love. Unfortunately, we found egg shells in the scrambled egg served during the buffet breakfast. If one is travelling with an infant, nothing much available in or around the property. There is a bus depot right next to the hotel which was busy all 3 nights leading to whistle blowing sound whole night, was disturbing for us as we had an infant with us.

Everything was fine and great. Staff were very nice with good services. Location is great, easy to reach the main touristy spots. There was renovation during my stay, so heard some noise but not a big deal. The sound proof was considered okay. Very tiny noise from the renovation I heard and also when people passed by the corridor and talking.
There was no separation between the shower and toilet bowl, but the shower water was hot enough. There was also water dispenser for you to refill water and provided with their glass jar, which is great! Overall, I had a good stay!

* Front Desk: Only one staff member on duty led to three unanswered calls at night. This poses a serious safety risk in an emergency.
* Food (Breakfast): HORRIBLE quality. The buffet lacked creativity, was visually unappetizing, and items like the sausage were inedible. The Chef needs immediate supervision.
