Our stay at The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay was truly pleasant. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, surrounded by pine trees and cool mountain air. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were courteous and accommodating, making sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Its location within Camp John Hay made it easy to explore nearby restaurants and attractions while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Baguio.

Although it may seem like an old hotel, it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and I felt the kindness of the people of Baguio. The only downside was that the shower water was a little cold.

Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy but decent. The hotel is inside a mall, which is very convenient, and there are lots of restaurants around the area. It’s a bit of a walk to Tai Wo Hau Station, but still manageable. The location is a little far from TST, however it’s quite near Disneyland and the HZMB Port, which is a plus if you’re heading that way.

We stayed for 3 nights at Microtel by Wyndham Baguio which is located near SM Baguio mall. Camp John hay is not that far from the property through a car. Hotel service was good right from finding a parking slot to arranging some of our requirements. Facility and hotel is average considering the price we paid per night. Food options were extremely limited and was not something all foreign travelers will like or love. Unfortunately, we found egg shells in the scrambled egg served during the buffet breakfast. If one is travelling with an infant, nothing much available in or around the property. There is a bus depot right next to the hotel which was busy all 3 nights leading to whistle blowing sound whole night, was disturbing for us as we had an infant with us.

Everything was fine and great. Staff were very nice with good services. Location is great, easy to reach the main touristy spots. There was renovation during my stay, so heard some noise but not a big deal. The sound proof was considered okay. Very tiny noise from the renovation I heard and also when people passed by the corridor and talking. There was no separation between the shower and toilet bowl, but the shower water was hot enough. There was also water dispenser for you to refill water and provided with their glass jar, which is great! Overall, I had a good stay!

Elevator is not accessible. You always have to seek assistance from the receptionist everytime you will use it prior returning to your room. Also, no slippers available on rooms

I had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality shown by every team member. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service.

The hotel is good for the price i love their lobby and the breakfast is cheap only 100 pesos and youll gwt a plated meal . I also love their kids indoor playground

Returning Guest Disappointed – Urgent Improvement Needed Stay: 15-17/Nov/25 Status: Returning Guest We returned hoping for improvements after our last critical review, but found significant service failures persist. Management must urgently address these issues before our planned January visit. * Room Welcome: Cookies appreciated, but a Baguio Rose flower stalk would be a more meaningful gesture. * Housekeeping: Towels placed on the floor for replacement were simply re-hung; we had to call for clean ones. * Front Desk: Only one staff member on duty led to three unanswered calls at night. This poses a serious safety risk in an emergency. * Food (Breakfast): HORRIBLE quality. The buffet lacked creativity, was visually unappetizing, and items like the sausage were inedible. The Chef needs immediate supervision. Management/GM: Please give these critical points your special attention. We need to see positive improvements in January; otherwise, we will seek other accommodations.
