I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient — close to restaurants and attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night. I also enjoyed the breakfast; it was delicious and had a good variety. Reception was very pleasant and accepted early check in. Security staff were very alert and assisted us to park despite the busy time and tight spaces available. On day 1 and arrival, room was of acceptable cleanliness however we were put with a no view room despite booking showing atleast window view. Asked for daily room clean only to notice that bed is made, towel changed but bathroom not cleaned, glasses and water canister not cleaned. Floor was not swept or vacuumed. Breakfast options very limited and had same menu for 2 days in a row , then only 1 new dish changed on 3rd day. No tea/coffee making facility in the rooms and had to get them from the hallway. No complimentary water in the room and had to fetch from hallway water dispenser per floor. Location wise, very close to town and walking distance to Session Rd, SM, Camp John Hay, Cathedral and Pink Sisters. Highly recommended. The service and welcome are exceptional, as is the hotel’s exquisite forest location and ambience in Camp John Hay, Baguio. Although it’s quite an old hotel, the highest standards are delivered. It’s quite expensive, although the dining and drinking options are priced quite reasonably for a hotel of this nature. Hotel is right beside burnham park which makes it accessible. Session Road is about 15min walk away from the hotel. Staff is friendly. 24 hour front desk and spacious parking area. I would like to thank the staff for being so very helpful to my girlfriend and her relatives, for sorting out her triage for her medical to come to australia. There were a few things that she needed to do and the staff were on to this. So many thanks for you kind help. They enjoyed their stay and had a good few days courtesy of my wallet haha. Would have rated 5 stars for all categories but few honest opinions:
1. Wifi connection needs improvement. Average speed is 10mbps. Network is not very stable. Network gets disconnected every now and then.
2. Shower needs to be on 10mins prior the water gets warm (only gets to lukewarm). Would have been a plus if water gets heated without wasting water and if water gets warmer than lukewarm.
Overall, pleasant stay. Really good value for money. Bed is really comfortable and staff is pleasing.

Myself and wife, looking for some relief from the heat and humidity had an overnight stay in Baguio. Both seniors by Philippine standards, though still working in UK.
We booked a suite and requested view over countryside or city, king sized double required.
For less than £60 including breakfasts it was a done deal.
We were allocated room 501, up 1 level ( bear in mind there are rooms above and below the reception level), normal for Baguio given the topology of the area.
Room views are spectacular, no noise from adjoining lift at all, 2 quarter windows opened and had gnat
Mesh covers ( we left these ajar to hear the local sounds that were hardly audible). Efficient Air con in room (though no remote control), good sized, wall mounted TV ( a UK news channel would have been appreciated), room mini bar doesn't exist ( not the stated required P2000 deposit at book on as booking was prepaid online)
2x std sized bottles of water, kettle, hairdryer, small fridge, 2x tea coffee sugar and creamer, 2x cups and saucers, a Bible ( missed from other 2 hotels stayed at this vacation)
Breakfast was a good selection buffet that sated our appetites until the evening.

Given its prime location, just a walking distance from tourist spots (Burnham, Rizal Park, session road) and food crawls, it is one of the ideal places to stay within Baguio City.
If you’re into cafes, I suggest cafe hopping as well since there are a couple of cafes within the vicinity, the most famous being Foam coffee, Legarda branch.

We had a generally good stay at the hotel. The hotel's location is about 8-minute ride or 20-minute walk to Burnham Park. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. It was, however, quite too dim to our liking. The veranda was a bit cramped but the view was amazing especially during the night. The staff were kind, approachable and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Breakfast was delicious and had a decent selection. We just also hoped they had provided us water bottles on the second day (they only provided on the first day). This hotel has some good points:
1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests.
2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area.
3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool.
However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas:
1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience.
2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved.
3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted.
4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service.
We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.FromPKR 27,996

The King Chef Dimsum Restaurant at the First floor provided a tasty meal as well. Even more important, the hotel was very close (7 minutes) to the center of the city (Burnham Park). Service was good overall, although there are things left to be improved. Room was comfy but for some reason, the fan is slow, which matters since there is no air conditioning. Breakfast is good, too. Location is walkable from SM and Session, which is good. A bit of noise from the construction site nearby and Baguio cathedral bells but nothing disturbing about it. It's a good budget hotel.
One thing though, when we got to the hotel, the staff said they are not affiliated with Trip.com so our booking was rerouted to Agoda/Expedia, which was weird. We had to call Trip.com customer support to check.FromPKR 13,878

The picture of the room I selected showed a double bed. The mention said you could get either one on arrival...a double bed or a single bunk bed.
But that is not true. The price for the room I selected was for a single bunk bed only. This is what we were told after arrving. The double bed was P200 extra a night. We paid but complained at Trip.com. We got P400 credit for the next booking. How to call this practice from the hotel? Not honest. Advertising something that is not true. I will make sure Trip.com
change that.

Great service from the hotel staff. They provided ironing amenities and blower upon request. I even called at 5am to ask for toiletries and dental care on our last day and they were able to provide. Our window with balcony is opposite the windows of the hotel residences occupants who use their balcony to hang clothes and as storage area, which I find quite dismal. The place was really nice. It was a little too far from the center, though, so access is quite difficult (had to ask a bunch of people for jeep access). I had a mini fridge, a bathtub, a tv, table, bed, etc. I didn't need to use the aircon because the place was already really cold, the fan was enough. Oh, and bring slippers!
It was a good trip. I had fun trekking down the road in the fog early in the morning. It's also near Arca's Yard.

My stay at Casa Vallejo Hotel was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the hotel's location is truly a highlight. The building itself has a lot of character, with a historic feel that adds to the overall ambiance. Overall, Casa Vallejo Hotel has potential. Quite a nice place and good for families to stay together in one property with 2 rooms. The living room and kitchen are quite big and can cook you own dinner if you want.
