HW.TANHW.TANHad a really pleasant stay at ARTOTEL. The hotel has a modern and stylish concept, and the overall atmosphere feels comfortable and welcoming. The room was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully prepared with some nice little touches.
I especially appreciated the complimentary chocolate and juice provided in the fridge, as well as the sleep aromatherapy provided in the room. These small details were a lovely surprise and made the stay feel a little more special and relaxing.
The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our visit, which made the whole experience even better. The location is also convenient and makes it easy to get around.
One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast. There was a really good variety of food, including authentic Indonesian dishes and a nice selection of traditional Indonesian cakes and pastries. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to try different local flavours instead of only the usual international hotel breakfast options. There were plenty of choices, and everything made for a great start to the day.
I also really liked the unique design and artistic touches throughout the hotel. It gives ARTOTEL its own character and makes it feel different from a typical hotel.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. From the thoughtful amenities in the room to the wide breakfast selection and friendly service, everything came together nicely. I would definitely consider staying at ARTOTEL again on my next visit.

I kept hearing motorcycles passing by all night. It might not be suitable for those who prefer quietness, as the vehicle noise was particularly loud.JK_CJK_CWe’d a blast at the relatively new Westin Nirup Island Resort & Spa this weekend. Went there to celebrate wedding anniversary with my wife and the ferry ride from the new SG cruise centre was smooth (make sure you arrive early to avoid long queue or get hold of e-boarding pass in advance). The hotel reception desk and housekeeping team at Westin Nirup was probably overwhelmed by the waves of hotel guests. That resulted in a frustrating delay in getting our room ready (we were the only guests left in the hotel lobby). The hotel ops team led by Rara Tiffany and Philips quickly noticed the situation and offered an upgrade to a sea villa (Philips also went beyond his duty to give us a tour of the island via a buggy). I’ve to say the location of this hotel resort is perfect for a short getaway from Singapore (better value than staying in a downtown hotel or Sentosa). The quality and variety of food in the island can be improved to ensure the whole guest experience is kept at the highest level (special thanks to Ryan for bringing me a cup of coffee at the buffet dinner night and Arlee for offering to send us back to our villa). To me, this hotel resort is 5-star because of its hardworking and friendly staff!Winnie010122Winnie010122Overall, the hotel was quite decent and the environment was generally comfortable and pleasant. The room and common areas were acceptable, and I had a reasonably comfortable stay.
However, I was quite disappointed to find a dead cockroach in the room. Although it was only one, this really affected my overall impression of the hotel and made me feel that the cleanliness and housekeeping could be improved. Because of this, I had to deduct quite a few marks from my rating.
The breakfast was another area that did not meet my expectations. There were some choices available, but the overall quality and variety could definitely be improved. I was hoping for a better breakfast experience considering the hotel’s overall standard.
Apart from these issues, the hotel environment was generally okay, and the stay was not bad overall. With better attention to cleanliness and an improved breakfast selection, I think the hotel could provide a much better experience for guests.
Guest UserGuest UserIt was a really good experience staying at Montigo Resort! I went there with a friend last month for a short getaway, and we spent 2 days and 2 nights entirely in the resort without even going into the city.
Upon check-in, the reception staff kindly upgraded our booking from a Premier Villa to a Deluxe Villa at no extra charge. All the staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile.
The resort provides buggy rides to get around, and I think we ordered them so frequently that the buggy driver eventually recognised us and we didn’t even need to give him our villa number anymore. 🤣
We also booked a one-hour session at their wellness spa for a massage, and honestly, we regretted not booking a longer session! The one hour went by so quickly, and by the end of it, we were already wishing we had booked more time. Definitely worth trying if you’re staying at the resort!
The only downside was that the villa itself could have been better maintained, but honestly, it didn’t really affect our overall experience.
Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely recommend Montigo Resort for a relaxing getaway!

This was my second visit to Batam View Beach Resort, and it was just as wonderful as the first. I brought my mom this time, and she enjoyed everything about our stay.
Food: Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delicious mix of local and Western dishes. While we were bummed that the seafood restaurant was closed for dinner, the indoor restaurant/bar completely made up for it with great food and service.
Amenities: The resort facilities are excellent, and my mom took full advantage of them.

Every single staff were friendly, kind, accommodating, helpful...In room dining service is available 24/7. We loved the beach bar. Decent breakfast spread, the ala carte menu at taming sari was so good.
Rooms were very clean, spacious and theview from our balcony was so serene and beautiful!
The only thing the management need to consider is installation of more fan or air cooler at Taming Sari as its too hot. Some of the fans were out of order. The weather is extremely hot. While we enjoyed the food,drinks and the amazing service by the team we had to finish our meal quickly and head back to the room as its extremely hot and stuffy in there.sohadensohadenWe had an absolutely incredible stay at Kiki Beach Resort! The location is stunning, but what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The food was another massive highlight—absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Every meal was a treat!
If I could make one tiny suggestion for an otherwise perfect setup: since the toilets have a beautiful open-concept design, it would be amazing if the resort could consider placing a bottle of bug repellent in there for guests to use.

I'm not sure if they were doing enough renovating the hotel though. I was surprised the room was unlike their photos, the door was bulging as if they were made from wood ashes, the smell of cigarettes was so strong even though I requested for no smoking room. I wasn't sure why, but then they came to spray something to get rid of the smell after that. Another issue was the aircond. I already complained about this, but the engineering team came, but only to wipe it. I already told him that the water passage was blocked, but he juat wiped it down. I suspected that it would happen again, and lo and behold it did. I was so frustrated about this. When I reported this issue, they came again, and confirmed my suspicion all along. They said it wouldn't take long, but it did. They said to wait for their supervisor. After a while, it's decided that I had to move to another room. It took them a while too, only to move me the a room a stone away from the current one. When I got to the new room, the cigarette smell was actually worse, so the guy who moved me called the front desk to move me again, but they were very reluctant to make the change. It was suffocating just to be in the room, even with an opened door. Too many back and forth, and finally they moved me. I was already tired from the travel around the city, and they did this.
