The resort is very interesting with guestrooms within a tipi. The lagoon is lovely and clean. We were impressed with the guest services. From pickup at the ferry terminal to the arrival at the resort to check into our room, to dining to housekeeping to the security guard to the lifeguard at the lagoon, all staff were very friendly n nice. Due to the unpredictable weather, the housekeeping was very attentive to bring in our swim wear from outside into the tipi and closed up the tent. The only negative point was that the check-out time was too early at 11 am. Despite this, overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anmon Resort.From€102

Came here with my mother and we both loved it, the service was impeccable from the very start to the end. Everything was smooth, when they picked us up from the ferry terminal we were greeted with cookies and a cold towel. Upon reaching, everyone was so helpful and it was convenient to get around as we just had to call or drop a text and a buggy would be sent to pick you up and bring you wherever u want. With every room, you get two very nice bicycles for you to go around and explore. They plan lots of activities so you definitely won't be bored, some of the complimentary ones include free yoga, kayaking, stand up paddling, etc. The paid ones were also very worth it, the spa massage was just lovely. They even hang a hammock in your room upon request and it was my favourite place to relax. The room itself was very clean and spacious. What surprised was me that every night they would place complimentary traditional snacks and a little bed time story of a traditional tale in your room (We got kueh lapis and Kue Bingka Ubi), we did not know about this so we were super happy, felt like every detail was well thought of. Additionally, I was celebrating my mother's birthday and they surprised us with a cake and lovely set up on the bed. There were quite a bit of insects but can't be helped if you want to enjoy the beauty of nature. They do take utmost care against this with each room including a tray of insect repellant, coil that is free to use and we also learnt that everyday they fumigate the place and spray it down twice to reduce insects. The complimentary breakfast had such a good spread too and their on site pool bar and restaurants were all delicious. I usually do not write reviews but this was such a beautiful experience, I had to write this. I would love to give my thanks to all the lovely staff for such a good experience. service was okay, but they only provided 2 drinking water per room per day - and it cost about 5 sgd to purchase a 1.5L water
activities there are pretty pricey as well, but u can rent volleyball/football for free
the beach there is quite stoney, not very advisable to play by the edge of the water because there are a lot of stones which can be quite painful barefooted
room was okay, the ac was good, but water shower pressure quite low, but hot water is good

First time staying at Cassia Bintan and no regrets! Wonderful experience with too notch hospitality from their service crew.
Room was nice, comfortable, clean and spacious.
Gym and breakfast would be at Angsana resort which is just a 5 minutes walk away.
The beach front is easily accessible from Cassia Bintan and the swimming pool is very child friendly too.

Quiet and peaceful place. Room is very spacious and clean. Bathroom is exceptionally impressive! Cosy for families, great place for short getaway. Not many activities to choose from - archery / kayaking / ATV.. But they do have 4hr / 6hr day tours. Food wise - quality is ok; not many options.. as there's one and only Legenda Cafe. We had BBQ cooked by a chef by the beach and the experience was good - Can't have such an experience in Sg 😂 Breakfast was fantastic on Sunday morning - wide spread with Nasi Lemak (very yummy esp with the spicy sambal) / Fried Noodles / Congee / Egg station / Hashbrowns / Sausages / Jamu juice / cakes and fruits etc.. But disappointing on Monday morning - spread is limited, but we can order from the menu - food only came after more than 30mins. Room for improvement on that - especially when there's limited time for breakfast, food should be served fast; if not then just stick to buffet style. Overall, service is good. Our stay was just perfect. It is a beautiful Balinese traditional set-up villa, every staff was friendly and so kind and it really touched my heart. It's a bit old property but perfectly maintained, I didn't feel it's old at all and I was rather impressed how well they kept this beautiful villa. You can also notice a great attention to detials, the person (people) came up with this design and architect must be genius! I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose.
There are activities that can be in and around the resort.
First time tried kayaking and archery.
All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out.

Great villa!! I’ve got the deluxe one for 2 pax, and it’s HUUUUUGE! Loved the service too. Tbh I texted them the night before about transport from the ferry the replied me in no more than 10 mins. The best part was I didn’t realise that Indo time is 1 hour behind sg, it rly only hit me when we reached bintan and my iphone time changed LOL. BUT — after communicating with them while aligning the ferry, the pick up was already there by the time we were done picking up our luggage! It was a perfect spot. Near Holiday Inn and Hotel Indigo. Next to Lagoi Plaza. Accessible to the beach and mall. There are e-bikes which we could rent at SGD 20 per hour. Right behind the hotel there is a HUGE lake and i mean it, HUGE. We rented the e-bike to explore the area and the lake until my e-bike battery went down to one bar. Hahaha.. But it was an awesome experience. The pool however would be good if they have a heater. It was soooooo cold.From€48

It was a great stay for us. Sea view chalet is nice and comfortable for me and my husband. Unobstructed view for the sea is my favourite. Room service was good and staffs were friendly and always greet us with smiling face. We stayed for 3 nights and we ate our meals at the resort’s restaurants. Breakfast was included in our booking and food served at the breakfast was good but nothing special to mention. We had our lunch and dinner at the Spice and the Kelong seafood restaurant. I will say the food varieties is limited and pricey. I will say it is more expensive than Singapore (one of the most expensive city in asia). For two person we spent about 70$-170$ per meal… appitizer, one main dish and one cheapest drink. When we had seafood dish, it cost more, of course, about $170. Overalls, it was a good experience. Nice stay except the pricey food. Taste of the food are just fine. We stayed 3 nights, so it made us more difficult to choose what to eat when you have not much to choose and it is not exciting and you are at the resort… so you can’t go out and buy more affordable food outside. If the resort can have more Chinese cuisine will be good. So, if you are staying for relaxation then it is good. If you are foodie,,, this place is not for you.From€98

We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance

Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression.
We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved.

My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay on your ship. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was abundant with food that reminded us of home in the Philippines, something we’ve really missed.
The receptionists were very hospitable and guided us well on what to do during our stay. The pool was unique and aesthetic, and what amazed us most was the ship’s rich history, especially how it has touched many lives through charity. A special thanks also to the captain who gave us a tour of the ship (I even wondered if he’s a real captain!)
On our last day, despite the bad weather, and although our check-out was scheduled for 12:00 PM, our ferry departure was not until 6:45 PM. The reception staff graciously allowed us to remain in our room until 5:00 PM. This thoughtful gesture meant a great deal to us and made us feel valued and cared for.
Overall, our experience exceeded expectations. We are grateful to all the staff of Doulos Phos Hotel for their kindness and professionalism. We will gladly recommend this hotel to our friends and look forward to visiting again.

The single bed in the bedroom is a bit small and can only sleep one adult. If there are many people, you can put the two single beds together. Even if the communication is not too smooth, they will not bother to explain. My request is to know one or two keywords. Excellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. Overall experience was great. However was a little disappointed on the day of check-in, as I’ve specified that I required a connecting room (travelling with young kids + helper). I’ve previously enquired if I should book 1x twin and 1x king or the booking type doesn’t matter as long as I indicated. I was told the latter so I book 2x king instead and indicated my preference of connecting room.
Well… i was told connecting room is subjected to availability. What upset me was, I think the hotel doesn’t try to accommodate and pre-arranged. Furthermore I was informed “I booked 2x king instead of 1x Twin and 1x King”.
It was a mad logistic headache for me and my family as it’s difficult to settle down with 3 young kids (1 is infant) + helper sleeping arrangement.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.From€36

While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance

I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. They were very attentive and accommodating too. I wish I could go back one day!

For two person we spent about 70$-170$ per meal… appitizer, one main dish and one cheapest drink. When we had seafood dish, it cost more, of course, about $170. Overalls, it was a good experience. Nice stay except the pricey food. Taste of the food are just fine. We stayed 3 nights, so it made us more difficult to choose what to eat when you have not much to choose and it is not exciting and you are at the resort… so you can’t go out and buy more affordable food outside. If the resort can have more Chinese cuisine will be good. So, if you are staying for relaxation then it is good. If you are foodie,,, this place is not for you.

Staff are very friendly and professional, extremely helpful especially when we are travelling with elderly. We had an in tent bbq which is a nice experience dining under the stars. Will definitely return again for a nice relaxing stay in future.

|20.28km from city centerCame here with my mother and we both loved it, the service was impeccable from the very start to the end. Everything was smooth, when they picked us up from the ferry terminal we were greeted with cookies and a cold towel. Upon reaching, everyone was so helpful and it was convenient to get around as we just had to call or drop a text and a buggy would be sent to pick you up and bring you wherever u want. With every room, you get two very nice bicycles for you to go around and explore. They plan lots of activities so you definitely won't be bored, some of the complimentary ones include free yoga, kayaking, stand up paddling, etc. The paid ones were also very worth it, the spa massage was just lovely. They even hang a hammock in your room upon request and it was my favourite place to relax. The room itself was very clean and spacious. What surprised was me that every night they would place complimentary traditional snacks and a little bed time story of a traditional tale in your room (We got kueh lapis and Kue Bingka Ubi), we did not know about this so we were super happy, felt like every detail was well thought of. Additionally, I was celebrating my mother's birthday and they surprised us with a cake and lovely set up on the bed. There were quite a bit of insects but can't be helped if you want to enjoy the beauty of nature. They do take utmost care against this with each room including a tray of insect repellant, coil that is free to use and we also learnt that everyday they fumigate the place and spray it down twice to reduce insects. The complimentary breakfast had such a good spread too and their on site pool bar and restaurants were all delicious. I usually do not write reviews but this was such a beautiful experience, I had to write this. I would love to give my thanks to all the lovely staff for such a good experience. We will definitely be back!
