I was very disappointed with my stay. There was a strong and unpleasant smell of sewage in the rooms, which could also be detected from the hallway, even 10 meters away. I was on the 5th floor, and despite the hotel’s reputation, this was not what I expected.
Additionally, loud music from a nearby bar or restaurant continued until midnight, making it very difficult to sleep. I had to keep the window open due to the smell, and so did my colleague in the neighboring room — but with nighttime temperatures around 8–9°C, the room was uncomfortably cold.
Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a hotel with such a good name.FromAU$245

Lovely hotel! The hotel is 10 min walk from the old twon. Our room was very clean and spacious with great shower! The staff are incredibly polite, welcoming and friendly. The staff from cafe at the front went out of their way to get us vegan cake in the evening. The bar staff was lovely as well and drinks and food reasonably priced. The breakfast had good selection for anyone including nice vegan options. Definitely try the vegan strawberry cake, it was the breakfast highlight for us.
As they are renovating spa we couldn't use the hotel ones (we will have to come back to try). They offered options nearby but we opted for a different place for our massages in the end.

This hotel is super nice and a very chic place to stay. Fun to have a drink in the lobby and to have breakfast inside the restaurant. The rooms are very spacious they have like three separate rooms and they have a beautiful balcony overlooking the property. Staff was flawless hotel was very upscale. The only problem I have with this hotel is that the pool is very very small and I like to luxury ate and of huge swimming pool when I am on vacation and the pool here very small maybe only suitable for children or for someone who doesn't like to swim laps. I never took a dip in the pool and I changed hotels because I wanted a spa / swimming pool hot tub amenity for my vacation. If you were not into pools then this is the perfect place to stay. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect—just a few hundred meters from the express bus route 100 from the airport, and right in front of a major metro interchange station. There’s also a bus stop conveniently located right in front of the hotel. Unirea Shopping Mall is within walking distance, and it’s situated in the heart of Old Town Bucharest, making it easy to explore the city on foot.
The area is vibrant, with plenty of bars and halal restaurants just behind the hotel, offering a great variety of dining options. The room was exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, featuring a great view and even a coffee machine for added convenience.

The hotel is nice and not far from the center, the traveller can either take the bus or walk to the center - old town (it could be a bit challenging in a hot day)
The staff is amazing, there was an issue with AC and they arranged a different room where AC was working and everything is ok.
The view from the restaurant on the 12th floor is nice and covers the city. The breakfast is tasty and has different choices.

Stayed for 3 nights in early September 2025. The hotel is located near the old town which is very convenient for sightseeing, as most of the places are within walking distance. It is refurbished from an old bank and retains the charm of the former building including a nice lobby which was previously the banking hall. They also have a vault with a bar within. The room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities including a safebox. They have USB charger built in as well. Wifi was fast. The hotel also does have a swimming pool in the basement with wet and dry sauna facilities. The old town is right behind the hotel.
Staff were professional and I managed to have slightly early check in thanks to a trainee lady (I did not catch the name) who took time to helped look for available room.FromAU$291

Great Location – But Book Entire Stay Upfront to Avoid Price Jump
Hilton is in a great location – right on the border of the main road and pedestrian-friendly areas that lead straight into the old town. Perfect for exploring the city on foot.
When I arrived, I checked out the available rooms and asked the receptionist for the current rate. The price through Trip.com was considerably lower, so I booked it online and received a substantial discount for the same room.
I enjoyed my stay enough to extend for a second night. However, I was surprised to find that the price for Monday night had jumped up significantly and matched the original reception rate—much higher than my first night. Same room, just a higher cost.
Tip: If you're planning to stay more than one night, I recommend booking the full duration upfront through Trip.com to lock in the best rate. Prices can change daily, and you may not get the same deal by booking night by night.

Superb location right in the heart of old town in Bucharest. Room is large with space for luggage. Breakfast are good, the staff are excellent in their service, not only friendly but also assist us in liaise with local Uber driver for transfer due to the limited driveway. Back door leads to the entrance towards the old town while the main doors are meant to go towards the subway and transport via the main road. The hotel is at a very good location in old town. Just walking distance up to about 30 minutes in all directions are all the beautiful historic buildings you need to see. Yes it is going to be loud because it’s on the street with pubs and clubs but I didn’t mind the noise so much. Staff were very kind and helpful. Even helped me book a car for a discounted rate compared to what I would pay hailing a cab myself. The hotel is right next to Old City restaurant and the food is nice there. Keep in mind this is on a pedestrian street so cars can’t drop you to the hotel door. So if you have luggage just remember it’s about a five minutes walk from the Main Street where you get dropped off. SOLD OUT

I had a wonderful stay at House4You - Praporgescu in Bucharest on the night of October 2nd. The automatic check-in process was incredibly convenient and hassle-free. My room was spotless, pleasantly fragrant, and beautifully designed, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. Despite the chilly weather outside, the room was perfectly warm thanks to the efficient heating and air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and attentive; because my flight was late and it was cold and rainy, the hotel kindly offered me a free late check-out from 11:00 to 13:00 and complimentary luggage storage. I especially want to express my gratitude to Luciana, who patiently helped me call taxis to the airport multiple times during rush hour. Thanks to everyone at House4You, I had a truly great stay here.FromAU$115
