Highly recommended for female solo traveller! Staff were helpful, sweet and considerate. I emailed them beforehand for my situation : landed early morning, used next-day breakfast quota on the day i land, and hopefully an ultra early check in. And all wishes were granted! Hence i took a nice shower before breakfast and took a recovery nap in the afternoon. Breakfast was awesome, with loads of variety and attentive services. Cozy and nice environment. Location was perfect, only 8mins uber away from Museum of Islamic Art and Qatar National Museum. Room was styled old-fashionably, clean and tidy with amenities on requests.

Overall, the hotel does not worth this price. The lobby and building are ok. If you travel alone, that room can be a little bit uncomfortable in vibe. Staff were nice. Cleanliness: the room was clean. However, it smelled like old building, can emit their own odors over time. The scents in toilet is so bad, like sewage when I turned off ventilation during night time. Location: it is closed to Souq Waqif with around 18 mins walk. The area was quiet and safe. It can take sometimes to the airport, so I took Uber to go there. Service: people were friendly and even upgrade the big room for my family. They’re trying to make it easy for you. Amenities: the room and building were too old. Lighting is doomed. It’s bathtub, toilet were worn out and there’s defects. The hairdryer was historical and noisy. There was a lock door inside the master bedroom which is a bit creepy.

A slight mishap with airport pickup; the hotel taxi hadn't waited for me. However, they apologized, and I received a very warm welcome at the hotel. They were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and kind, and the room was cleaned impeccably every day. The breakfast was excellent, with a varied buffet. The hotel is close to the metro, the city center, Souq Watif, and Downtown Mshereib. Perfect for getting around at any time of day.

I was advised to book Kempinski based on my friends recommendation due to location and amenities with this hotel. Service was 10/10, exceptional from the minute we walked in right up until the end. There were a few blips but it can be overlooked with how much care the staff had. The security guards behind public house restaurant on the beach were lovely cheerful guys who are a credit to Kempinski. The duty manager helped, also the reception staff helped throughout our stay. I have recommended my family and friends to come to Kempinski based off my experience. I will be coming back again!

A beautiful hotel but falls short of 5 star service. The service received was pretty inconsistent as some members of staff and certain situations were dealt with to a top standard but the hotel fell short in other areas. The poolside was not staffed so on our 2 days that we spent there (would have spent more but it was boring), there was nothing provided to eat or drink. Spending time by the pool is a big part of my holiday so this was really disappointing. When I enquired with a staff member, I was told it is un-manned due to a lack of guests using the pool. This wasnt an acceptable reason. The other situation I had was when I asked if I could change money using my contactless card (we forgot our bank cards!) - 2 members of staff said it is possible then when I went to change the money, the manager(Nicole) came and advised that it actually isnt possible. Very unprofessional. Check-in was really nice and Kartik was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the door was very, very helpful in all matters and 2 members of staff at Alnafourah were also very helpful and friendly. We watched football at Alnafourah and we were treated well and nicely accommodated. Another incident occured when we came back to our room following a visit to the pool and having had our room made up, there were no towels! I had to call twice to housekeeping to advise them as they took so long to respond then when a member from housekeeping arrived, he told me the towels will take an hour to arrive! Never experienced something like this at a 5 star hotel. I had to go down to reception to resolve the situation and I will say that Nicole did sort it out immediately, the housekeeping manager visited our room to apologise and provided a complimentary fruit bowl. Nicole also offered a wonderful gesture by giving us complimentary entrance to a beautiful 'brunch by the pool' evening dinner. This was a lovely gesture as the food on offer was delightful. The gesture was very much appreciated. The location of the hotel isnt the best as there isnt too much to do in the area but taxis are so easy to get, this isnt too much of an issue. Overall, a really nice hotel but in my opinion, falls short of 5 star standard but does provide good value for the price. Nice but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall service needs improvement.

Great value for its location, great customer service staff from doorman, bellboy, front desk, and especially the restaurant servers, fantastic breakfast spread, most comfortable bed. Disappointed in amenities provided (no vanity kit, towels were old and worn), shower water pressure was low and not heating up properly, shower tiles looked aged and door wouldn't close properly causing wster spillage into the toilet floor. Overall I would still stay here if I revisit as the price offsets the negatives somewhat, whilst its location and staff really made my stay very enjoyable.

I had a 14-hour layover and stayed for a couple of hours. I arrived early and paid QAR 100 for early check-in. The receptionist was very nice. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep because the room had a strong cigarette smell, and there was also a mouldy odour in both the room and bathroom. The phone in the room wasn’t working, so I couldn’t call the reception, and I was too tired to go downstairs. The room definitely needs a proper spring cleaning. Overall, I would rate it 3/5.

I stayed here for a few days while changing apartments and the staff understandably assumed I was only here for a short stopover. I left an item of clothing behind and whether they threw it away or it was stolen by staff, I do not know, but they were so unprofessional and unhelpful when I rang to ask them about it. It was definitely left in that hotel yet they were insisting they had no record of it after I checked out. The housekeeping manager also never bothered to call me back and every time I rang, I was put through to unprofessional people. Would not recommend this stay to be honest. I’ve been in Doha for more than 4 years and this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at here, in terms of staff.

Stayed for three nights. Room with microwave and coffee maker, which is very convenient. Great hotel in the center of the capital. 15 minutes walk to the market and metro station. Beautiful view from the window of the sea and the embankment. Quite a variety of breakfasts. It is not often that you see salted red fish offered for breakfast. Delicious coffee. Magnificent pool on the roof with a beautiful view. Lots of comfortable sun loungers. Cons: The TV did not work upon arrival. However, upon request, the problems were fixed. We the SINGH family from the UK (consisting of me and my wife, along with 2 adult sons) stayed at Double Tree by Hilton Al Sadd Hotel in Doha, for 4 nights, during a recent multi country trip family holiday, and truly enjoyed the experience. The front security officers (eg. Moses, Jacob) were always happy, respectful and courteous in doing their jobs. The front desk staff (including Houssem, Krishna, Job, to name a few), were welcoming, efficient and helpful, and always called out or waved, and stopped for friendly chat. It was a great pleasure to actually meet with Renata who had been very proactive in answering all of my email questions prior to our booking with the hotel and assuring me that our pure vegetarian food requirements (ie. No meat, fish or eggs or dishes containing any of these items) for breakfast items would be fully met by the restaurant team. The restaurant team were absolutely fantastic. Mitzie welcomed us every morning into the restaurant for breakfast and always checked to ensure everything was ok, etc. Rony especially took care of all our dietary needs and always went above and beyond his role, and surprised us with at least one new item each morning, such as special healthy fruit power-shot or fruit juice or special dishes made to order and served us tea the way we like it. Chef’s Karan and Yousef made time to come and speak with us and offer other dishes. Basanta, Rhea and Nisha also looked after us very well and always stopped to offer advice on places to visit etc and discuss our plans for the day. Housekeeping staff (including Saibu, Jamuna, Horace, Sanjeev) were amazing and super friendly, and checked if we needed anything extra. Horace and Sanjeev surprised us several times with amazing art work of a lotus flower and pair of swans made from rolled towels - absolutely brilliant! So many special memories of this hotel and staff members, that we will treasure for a long time, and also captured on camera. A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE (I AM SURE I HAVE MISSED MANY NAMES), FOR MAKING OUR STAY SO AMAZING AND MEMORABLE. Another positive is that the hotel is very conveniently located for transport modes - taxi and metro station, and local shopping facilities and restaurants. We found a fabulous pure vegetarian Indian restaurant called Bhojan as well as a Tofu House only one street away - 5 minutes walk from the hotel.. So definitely 5 stars plus for this hotel, staff and its convenient location.

I recently stayed at Ezdan Hotel Doha and was truly impressed by what it had to offer. As one of the largest hotels in Doha, it caters to a wide range of guests with its diverse accommodations—from cozy single rooms to spacious long-stay apartments—all designed with modern comforts in mind. One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding range of facilities. The Olympic-sized swimming pool provided a refreshing retreat, perfect after a long day, and the fully equipped health club made it easy to maintain my fitness routine. Dining options were plentiful too, with a variety of international cuisines alongside local Arabic dishes, and I especially enjoyed the in-room dining experience offered by the hotel’s signature restaurant. What really set this hotel apart, however, was its exceptional service. The staff truly went above and beyond, offering personalized care and ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Their attention to detail made my stay not just comfortable, but memorable, and it was clear that their warm hospitality is a cornerstone of the hotel's reputation. Moreover, the location is a major advantage. Situated within walking distance of the corniche and near West Bay, the hotel offers easy access to Doha’s vibrant city life, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. For families, the outdoor playground and dedicated kid’s pool add an extra layer of convenience and fun. Overall, Ezdan Hotel Doha strikes an excellent balance between luxury and affordability. Its impressive facilities, top-notch customer service, and prime location combine to create an outstanding hospitality experience—one that I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Qatar.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chedi Katara in Doha, Qatar, and I can wholeheartedly say that this resort is a gem of refined luxury and warm hospitality. The relaxed atmosphere instantly put me at ease, and every aspect of my visit—from the immaculate surroundings to the attentive service—exceeded my expectations. Our celebration was memorable. we had initially booked a beach access room and a double room, but thanks to the thoughtful gestures of the staff, we were upgraded to a stunning villa. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Amel and Abdusalem at reception for their exceptional service and for making our special occasion even more remarkable. Additionally, I must commend Azmal for the fantastic house tour, which showcased the exquisite design and thoughtful details of the property. A warm thank you is also due to Dennis and King, who greeted us with their ever-present smiles and friendly demeanour at the door. I also appreciate the efforts of the two staff members on the club cars, whose names I unfortunately cannot recall, and to Richard for his attentive assistance throughout our stay and wonderful conversation and hospitality + tour around Katara village. The culinary experience was equally impressive. I had the opportunity to enjoy an Iftar during Ramadan that featured a seemingly endless array of delicious dishes, and the breakfast spread was equally sumptuous with plenty of choices to suit every palate. The beach house exuded great vibes and added to the overall charm of the resort. In summary, I cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team at The Chedi Katara. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable stay marked by exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and a truly relaxing ambience.
