Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, very high standard service by the staff clearly well trained in hospitality service. Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Shout out to Victoria who welcomed us upon our arrival and made our check in process a pleasure. She even let us in earlier than usual check in time as our room were ready early.
Vey comfortable bed, nice ambient lighting. Good space with sofa and a few small table.
Perfect location in the Central station on the first and second floor, so you can just jump from the hotel corridor to be on the ground floor (seriously, don't do this, just take the lift or escalator like a normal sane person:))
Not noisy at all in my room despite next to the train stop. Very well design sound proof room.
Breakfast buffet was amazing, good rang of options even for someone like my family that only eat Halal food - various vegetarians and eggs suitable food.
Luggage storage free of charge before check in or after checking out to help you enjoy Gothenburg without the need to carry your extra tonne of luggages.
Sauna and gym are also available for the customers.

I will start with the fact that the Staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful. But was A little disappointed when a room advertised as premier, was average at best. Shelve in the room broken, light fixtures that didn’t work, old basic tv that only had basic cable so couldn’t watch movies or Netflix etc or connect to with our devices. Super great hotel! It is recommended to book a superior room of 30 square meters, which is really large in Northern Europe. It is very cost-effective. The superior room has enough space to separate the bathtub and shower. It has double sinks and is very comfortable overall.
The toiletries have a very special smell, and the Chinese character ”Jing” on the bottle is very friendly. The hygiene is very good, and the cleaning staff is also very easy to communicate with. Even if the room is full of people on weekends, the cleaning is very fast!
The breakfast is good. There are free coffee machines on each floor, milk plant milk, as well as croissants, sandwiches, and snacks for you to enjoy. This is very special! You can enjoy the centuries-old castle architecture without leaving the hotel!
The rooftop swimming pool is said to be good but I didn’t go there. I might give it a try next time!
The location is undoubtedly the best choice for taking the train. The train station is very convenient for business and there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Accommodation is very convenient!
Gothenburg is not big, but the Volvo Museum and the Art Museum are more worth visiting!
special reminder! This city is nicknamed ”Little London” in autumn and winter because it is foggy and rains almost every day! But it’s just light rain, and it will stop for a while, so it’s best to bring a waterproof hard-shell windbreaker to wear over your down jacket! very important! The restaurant on the second floor of the hotel! delicious! The sommelier is an Italian guy who is very talkative and knowledgeable about wine. The wine pairings he recommends are very good! It would be great to stay in this hotel and go directly to the second floor for dinner. The set menu is very cheap at four to five hundred Swedish kronor per person for three or four dishes, but I personally prefer a la carte! Recommended raw beef tartare is delicious! Fried artichokes are delicious too! Flounder is also good! Highly recommend this restaurant!
The restaurant is also very loving. It is closed on Sunday night in order to give homeless homeless people in Gothenburg an early Christmas and feel the warmth. All the restaurant chefs and service staff went to cook for them! On the big weekend, it was indeed Nordic style! Thumbs up!From€94

The location could not be more central in the heart of Gothenburg. The hotel is a stone's throw from both the train and bus stations and walking distance from tons of restaurants and shops. The service is impeccable and the cleanliness exemplary - high gloss is the word!. I am not a pet owner but this little detail will warm the cockles of any dog owner's heart - the doggo welcome corner by the lifts across the aisle from the reception, with a bit of water and some dry nosh. Unfortunately the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and cheap so I barely slept a wink in my 3 nights there. I asked for an extra pillow as you only get one and that still didn’t help.
Staff were lovely when I did speak to them, but you can easily go by your whole stay without talking to someone which is a shame as you don’t get told any information.
There was also no fridge or safe in the rooms which I thought was pretty standard.
Food at the breakfast buffet was really good though. Great options for vegans/gluten free too.From€62

On the day I checked out oh my god, where did this girl suddenly come from? Little wanna be Swedish police officer banging on my door trying to get in. Ok i fell asleep after breakfast? So what. Even after i checked out & and was just having a coffee in the lobby, she came again in my face demanding to know if i had checked out? She was just rude, unprofessional, behavior was unbelievable. Really ruined my experience at the nice hotel Pigalle. Actually, I don’t accept people thinking they are better than everyone else & they think that they can just talk to people like they are a piece of crap. Gothenburg (pronounced ”Gothenburg” locally) It is a distance from the central station, but if it is a bright time, take the tram number 9 from the tram stop near the information center and take the Stenpiren tram stop. Get off at and walk for a few minutes.
A taxi costs about 200 SEK (a little over 2000 yen, depending on the taxi company). Is the boarding time about 10 minutes in each case?
The exterior was under construction when I went, but the lobby and the atmosphere of the room were satisfactory. The front desk is also friendly. ^ --^

The hotel was exceptionally clean and organized. They have several great amenities like a sauna & luggage storage for the day (even after you check out). Not far from anything and in a great location. The staff all speak great English and were incredibly friendly! Second stay.
I chose a double room, but I didn't notice when booking that it had no windows. The air is still bad. Next time I will book a room with a window which is much more comfortable.
The hotel is very close to the company headquarters, a 15-minute walk.
The location is good, next to Willy supermarket.
Just over ten minutes’ walk is ICA Maxi
Breakfast is still as good as ever.

Cozy hotel with friendly personnel, and an okay single room. It wasn’t large, but it was clean. More than good enough for the two nights I stayed there. But it was in need of maintenance though: the doors and such were quite badly damaged.
I’ve added breakfast to my booking, and this was really good! Lots to choose from, and delicious.
One complaint: the rooms facing the street are not soundproofed enough in my opinion, too much of the noise of the quite busy road outside came in😕
Would stay again though, and I heard the double rooms are less noisy as these don’t face the street.From€85

This hotel is also our favorite hotel, right on the pier, can eat breakfast to see the sea, very comfortable. Breakfast is also a typical Swedish breakfast, I like it anyway. The room is small, compared to other hotels. I think the extra bed is allowed, parking is very convenient. There is only one question I need to remind everyone, if English and Swedish are not very good, I do not recommend this hotel. Our plane arrived at Gothenburg Airport at eleven o'clock in the evening and arrived at the hotel is already twelve o'clock. The hotel did not have a reception desk, the door was closed, we were lucky, just one of the guests came back, we went into the door together. Then you see the hotel in Swedish message saying that after 11pm, you check in to call the hotel, pay attention to the Swedish phone number. Respond to you saying that your room key is in a box at the front desk, then you open the door with your own key to sleep. Very European-style hotel management, most of the in-house guests are foreigners. It is recommended that guests booking this hotel should check in during the day.From€51

Super nice room with comfortable bed and big windows with a great view. Breakfast was very good and hotel only a 5-10min ferry ride away from Gothenburg center. Only minus was a quite expensive parking lot and booking might be needed in advance, to secure a spot.Definitely coming here again!From€77
