The area is busy with lots of transit and people, bit the hotel is overall quiet. Breakfast is good with an assortment of items, but can get repetitive for longer stays as the food items are the same each day. The rooms are comfortable and good size with spacious bathrooms. The first stop of this business trip was Gothenburg Airport, where the bus came directly. The last stop was next to it, and it took only six or seven minutes to walk to Gothenburg Central Station. The hotel entrance was under renovation, and the facilities were OK. The room was average size, which was the regular European style. You needed to bring your own disposable toothbrush and slippers. We arrived at 7:30 pm and were told we got a room “upgrade”. The room was small so we really wondered what the “original” room looked like. The bed had stains on the cover that was laid under the mattress
which didn’t look good. We went down to the lobby and found nobody present. We moved on to the restaurant, it was 8 pm. Half full and we were met with the wonderful advise that they were closed for service. This was Friday May 16th and the menu
board was still at the entrance door to the restaurant.
We went back to the reception and queried why the restaurant was not serving dinner at 8 pm on a Friday.
The receptionist looked dumbfounded and told us it usually serves dinner at least until 9 pm but she took no action to assist us except to say we could walk fir 15 minutes to the Aveny, a street with lots of restaurants but could not suggest any close by. We ended up going to, as it happened, a fantastic restaurant right around the corner called Le Pigalle on the top floor of, we guess, a competing hotel. Fabulous meal in a restaurant that knew how to treat their guests.
In short we have regretfully no positive things to say about the ProfilHotels Opera in Gothenburg.
Gothenburg was fantastic but when we return we will definitely not book at the Opera which is overpriced for the standard and service they offer. Total waste of money at this venue. Regretfully we did not bother to take any pictures of the place as it is nothing we wish to remember about it.FromJPY 12,017

Loved the location of this hotel as well as the downstairs communal areas. Also the size of the room was great.
Unfortunately the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and cheap so I barely slept a wink in my 3 nights there. I asked for an extra pillow as you only get one and that still didn’t help.
Staff were lovely when I did speak to them, but you can easily go by your whole stay without talking to someone which is a shame as you don’t get told any information.
There was also no fridge or safe in the rooms which I thought was pretty standard.

The overall environment of the hotel is very well maintained, and the lobby, corridors and rooms are very clean. The facilities in the room are also quite complete, including free Wi-Fi, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, etc., which are very convenient to use. The gym and swimming pool are also available, and the equipment is novel and suitable for relaxing sports.
The breakfast options are varied, both Chinese and Western, whether it is a fresh omelet, salad, hot food or dessert, it is quite delicious. The ingredients are fresh, the dining area is clean and the atmosphere is very good.

The staff working on the weekend were super nice and helpful, and I’ve stayed here many, many times, always so nice & such a lovely boutique place to stay with many awesome things to like. On the day I checked out oh my god, where did this girl suddenly come from? Little wanna be Swedish police officer banging on my door trying to get in. Ok i fell asleep after breakfast? So what. Even after i checked out & and was just having a coffee in the lobby, she came again in my face demanding to know if i had checked out? She was just rude, unprofessional, behavior was unbelievable. Really ruined my experience at the nice hotel Pigalle. Actually, I don’t accept people thinking they are better than everyone else & they think that they can just talk to people like they are a piece of crap. Gothenburg (pronounced ”Gothenburg” locally) It is a distance from the central station, but if it is a bright time, take the tram number 9 from the tram stop near the information center and take the Stenpiren tram stop. Get off at and walk for a few minutes.
A taxi costs about 200 SEK (a little over 2000 yen, depending on the taxi company). Is the boarding time about 10 minutes in each case?
The exterior was under construction when I went, but the lobby and the atmosphere of the room were satisfactory. The front desk is also friendly. ^ --^
Please note that there is a deposit here (because there are paid drinks in the room)!

Frankly, I'd seriously recommend anyone reading this review to steer clear of this hotel for the time being. The hotel's location is good, right across from the city center train station, with many attractions and commercial facilities within walking distance. However, there's a massive transportation hub construction site directly downstairs. The traffic routes and facilities haven't been updated in navigation apps, making the road conditions absolutely chaotic – seriously, don't even attempt to navigate it.
Also, I have to complain about the room. I never expected it would be so small that it couldn't even fit a single table, which was extremely inconvenient.

Second stay.
I chose a double room, but I didn't notice when booking that it had no windows. The air is still bad. Next time I will book a room with a window which is much more comfortable.
The hotel is very close to the company headquarters, a 15-minute walk.
The location is good, next to Willy supermarket.
Just over ten minutes’ walk is ICA Maxi
Breakfast is still as good as ever.

Cozy hotel with friendly personnel, and an okay single room. It wasn’t large, but it was clean. More than good enough for the two nights I stayed there. But it was in need of maintenance though: the doors and such were quite badly damaged.
I’ve added breakfast to my booking, and this was really good! Lots to choose from, and delicious.
One complaint: the rooms facing the street are not soundproofed enough in my opinion, too much of the noise of the quite busy road outside came in😕

This hotel is also our favorite hotel, right on the pier, can eat breakfast to see the sea, very comfortable. Breakfast is also a typical Swedish breakfast, I like it anyway. The room is small, compared to other hotels. I think the extra bed is allowed, parking is very convenient. There is only one question I need to remind everyone, if English and Swedish are not very good, I do not recommend this hotel. Our plane arrived at Gothenburg Airport at eleven o'clock in the evening and arrived at the hotel is already twelve o'clock. The hotel did not have a reception desk, the door was closed, we were lucky, just one of the guests came back, we went into the door together. Then you see the hotel in Swedish message saying that after 11pm, you check in to call the hotel, pay attention to the Swedish phone number. Respond to you saying that your room key is in a box at the front desk, then you open the door with your own key to sleep. Very European-style hotel management, most of the in-house guests are foreigners. It is recommended that guests booking this hotel should check in during the day.FromJPY 9,310

We had great time at the Gothia Towers. The dinner in Heaven 23 with sunset view was the highlight. Easy access from and to the airport with regular bus stopping only 150m from the Hotel. Would stay here again👌.

The hotel is not bad and the breakfast is very rich. The young lady at the front desk is pretty and offers great service. However, the parking fee is too expensive, and the valet parking even costs 370 Swedish kronor. I looked for a parking space behind the hotel, which only cost 110 kronor.

I was on the top bunk of a bunk bed, but I couldn't find an outlet near my bed, so I couldn't charge my phone while sleeping (I didn't).
I used a female-only dormitory, but the door lock was difficult to lock, and I felt like I could get in without the electronic key if I accidentally locked it.
Although I made the reservation the day before, I was very satisfied with the price and the staff's atmosphere.
