This is a very good hotel. The room is very spacious, and the price is relatively affordable. However, the showerhead is fixed, and shampoo isn't provided, so I had to buy some at the convenience store downstairs. It was also a bit inconvenient that there was no charger near the bed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay at Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit Bangkok! Had a really pleasant stay here. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help whenever I needed anything. The location is also quite convenient, with BTS Thong Lo nearby and a shuttle service available, making it easy to get around Bangkok. There are also plenty of restaurants, convenience stores and places to explore around the area. The swimming pool was a nice bonus after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing stay with great service. Would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Bangkok! 🇹🇭✨

The only issue with this hotel was the slow Wi-Fi. If you're staying here, you might need an unlimited data plan. The entire hotel staff was incredibly proactive and attentive, and they could communicate in basic Chinese. We checked in around 3 or 4 AM, and all our check-in documents were already prepared for us, making the process very efficient. The lobby can help receive food deliveries and packages, and collection is also very meticulous and convenient. The room space was ample. Although the facilities were visibly a bit dated, they were very well-maintained. There were quite a few mirrors, and when my friend expressed some concern about the room's decor, they promptly helped us adjust it. The bathroom had a slight odor, but it was within an acceptable range. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs from the hotel, and the location is very close to both the BTS and the Airport Rail Link, making it very convenient to get to the city center.

Chidlom Bangkok|2.5km from city center
The location is about a five-minute walk from Chit Lom station, and it's quite quiet at night. The decor is very retro and stylish. The rooftop bar isn't large, but it's pleasant to have a drink and enjoy the breeze. The only downside was that one of my phones couldn't access the Wi-Fi login page for some reason, so I had to rely on my data the whole time. Also, because it's so retro, the lighting is quite dim. If I were traveling alone, I probably wouldn't choose to stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at Renaissance Bangkok Hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to BTS Chidlom and nearby shopping malls. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout my stay. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service exceeded my expectations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the hotel's facilities, including the gym and swimming pool, were well maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Renaissance Bangkok Hotel to both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Bangkok.

The room was very spacious. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The hotel is a bit old, but the room has been newly renovated. Service: Since the three-bedroom suite wasn't available for extension, I rebooked this room. After checking out of the original room, we stored our luggage at the front desk and went out. When we returned, the front desk had already processed the check-in for the new room. As soon as we got to the room and put our luggage down, the staff delivered the luggage we had stored at the front desk.

Silom/Sathon Bangkok|0.82km from city center
The hotel service and standards are pretty average, nothing outstanding. Its location is decent, probably in an area that doesn't get too much traffic. It's about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, but taxis are readily available. The surrounding commercial area is a bit lacking, though there's a rather large 7-Eleven diagonally across the street. The daily room cleaning was excellent and deserves praise! However, for some reason, even with the AC on (which I couldn't seem to turn off), the duvet felt a bit damp. Turning the temperature down lower seemed to solve that issue. Overall, for the price point, it's a worthwhile stay and I'd consider returning.

Sukhumvit Bangkok|3.87km from city center
The hotel is located in the Sukhumvit area. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. During my first stay, the room was nice and well equipped with everything I needed, including large bottles of shampoo and body wash, a hair dryer, a kettle, tea and coffee, a wardrobe, and a small working area. However, my experience during my second stay was not quite as good. There was a small hole in the door, which made me feel a little uncomfortable, although it was not possible to see through it from outside. The sink was also clogged. The staff were very helpful and immediately sent someone to fix it. When it could not be repaired, they kindly upgraded me to a family room. Despite the issues with the room, I was very impressed with how the staff handled the situation and took care of me. The location is also convenient, with a 7-Eleven and several restaurants nearby. I would stay here again if I needed to attend a meeting in this area. The only downside is that the surrounding area can feel a little unsafe or uncomfortable when walking alone at night.

Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok|12.89km from city center
The hotel looks nice from the outside, and the staff were polite. However, the room felt a bit dated and could benefit from some maintenance and refurbishment. The pillow had a slight odor, and a few facilities in the room were showing signs of wear, such as the soap holder, bidet spray, and toilet seat. The bathroom could also use more attention to detail, as I noticed some spider webs. One thing to be aware of is that the hotel appears to be popular with China groups, and the lobby was often quite busy. At times, some guests were lying down in the lobby area, which made the atmosphere feel an uncomfortable.

Siam Bangkok|2.71km from city center
We were given a room on the 5th floor overlooking the pool and gym area. Room was spacious. We booked for 4 nights but didn't sleep well throughout. 1st night the room was freezing cold even though we set the temp to max 30C. 2nd day went to request change of room but the counter staff said to get a technician to service. Then it became a little bit cold when set to 30C. 3rd day the room was like sauna and we called the technician up again. Then it was fine. On the 4th day, the room was freezing cold again. Technician came and service and said everything is back to normal now and shouldn't have any problems but the room still freezing cold after they left. Tired of calling them again and so we struggled to live through the night. We were so disappointed with the stay this time.

The room's ceiling was a bit low, and the interior was quite basic. The bedding wasn't very comfortable (old linens, soft pillows), and there were signs of wear and tear. Ventilation was poor, making clothes prone to smelling after washing. Breakfast was discounted for guests, and the price was the same for adults and children, offering good overall value for money. The pool was quite large, but the service and facilities were rudimentary. In the changing rooms, two sets of staff came in to change towels and empty bins while I was showering, completely disregarding guests wrapped in towels and trying to hide in a corner as they came and went multiple times. The hotel's most outstanding feature is the lobby, with its modern minimalist style and Japanese garden water feature, surpassing the public areas of most Pullmans. It's about a 10-minute walk to the BTS stations in front and behind. There's a food court on the upper floor of the duty-free shop next door, and if you walk through King Power to the back street, you'll find coffee shops and 7-Eleven. Both BTS stations also have popular Thai restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I probably won't stay here again.

This is a very good hotel; my daughter and I absolutely loved it. You don't even need to leave the hotel – it's like a city within a city, with a pool, mini-golf, spa, museum, restaurants, and a shop. The rooms are excellent, and the view from the window is simply amazing! It's about a 30-40 minute bus ride to the Old Town. Right outside the hotel, there's a market with a great selection and excellent prices. If we had known about it earlier, we would have bought all our souvenirs there. Getting to the airport also took about 30 minutes and only cost 300 baht. When we come back to Bangkok next time, we'll definitely choose this hotel again!

You might be lucky and get a good room right away (do not book the orange one!!!), but I had to change room twice. One was on the floor with carpets, very old, dark and with the smell of mold, AC was making unbearable noise. Another one was fully renovated with the smell of paint or glue, so after a night there, I had a terrible headache (assuming mild chemical poisoning), so please be careful. It was new, but wasn't very clean (someone fake eye lashes on the table, some lost jewelry piece and some tiny rocks here and there, taking a shower, water was literally everywhere because of the way it flows, not very well thought through). Some other friends heard construction all the time. Then staff showed me 2 other rooms the next day and I finally got a good one. Was a very comfortable roo. With a great view. (The door wasn't working well, so had to ask staff twice for help). They were helpful, but they obviously know hotel is not in the best condition. I will avoid this place in the future, as it wasn't the most pleasant experience, it shouldn't take seeing 4 rooms to find one to be able to rest in.

Facilities: This place is perfect for young trendsetters, not in a 'nightclub' way, but more like a playground for the fashionable crowd. Cleanliness: The pillows and bedding felt incredibly smooth and crisp, a refreshing change from the damp feeling I experienced at a hotel in Pattaya. Location: Absolutely in the heart of the city, can't beat it! Close to the subway and within walking distance of many attractions, right next to the Pixel Building. Service: Warm and welcoming, meeting Marriott's luxury standards, as expected. When I went to Paii for dinner, the staff even addressed me by my last name. 🐝 Bonus: I especially loved the MIX cocktails in the room! Shaking up my own drinks in the evening and sharing the 'Cocotail' fun with friends was a highlight! Highly recommend! ❤️🔥

The location is very convenient as it is just a stone's throw away from Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. My original booking was for jacuzzi room but it was under maintenance when I arrived. They did upgrade me to a bigger room. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. There are great food options from cafes to local food. And Terminal 21 is just a 5 minute walk away. The quickest way from the airport if you are traveling light i.e. Carryon luggage is to take the airport rail to Makkasan Station and walk to Phetchaburi MRT. Take one station to Sukhumvit MRT use the skywalk at Asok BTS towards Nana BTS and take the stairs down on the right. After that, it's just a 2 minute walk to the hotel.

Stayed 2x weeks, it’s Located at 7-10 mins walks to Pom Phrong BTS, which is a big far in case of rainy days or at afternoon which could be scorching hot. But hotel provide half hourly shuttle which complimented this inconveniences. The only problem is limited seat for shuttle🫠, only single shuttle. If you missed have to wait another 30mins or walk back or take Grab😔. There is onsen inside the hotel which make this hotel very very special to me. I truly enjoy and like the onsen features. Another stood out thing is the social Night event every Monday-Wed evening, for an hour free flow of drinks and snacks, something impressed me, unique for this hotel. Though I did not patron every single day. I ate out every night regardless of this, it is a nice place to chill and socialise there. In-room washer make the long stay very pleasant and convenient, so as plenty of drinking water provided. There is no scenery view from hotel due to its location. The breakfast is average , where in some days below average. I truly enjoyed almost daily their swimming pool and onsen, just the operating hours only start at 7am which is a bit late. If could start at 6am instead would be perfect, else it will be a bit rush after use , prior go to work at 8am. The services was excellent. I would rate it 4 star instead , gates by its location and breakfast spread/ food. Aside from this they deserve 4.5star. Will stay again in future if visit BKK again. Oya, there is mini Japanese grocery minimart below the hotel, provide almost most of daily necessities, if you need it. There is pharmacy and 7-11 in opposite road and Tops besides it. Few atas massage shop near by with higher price, further down to BTS you could find cheaper one.

Had a very pleasant stay at Grande Centre Point Lumphini. The property is brand new, exceptionally clean, and nicely designed. The rooms are spacious with fantastic skyline views, and the daily free minibar is a great touch. Its location directly opposite the new One Bangkok mall and next to the MRT makes exploring effortless. My only critique is the check-in process. For a flagship 5-star property, making guests stand in a long queue to wait for room cards feels outdated. It would be a massive improvement if they offered arrival drinks or let guests sit comfortably in the lounge while the keys are being processed. Hopefully, management can look into this to match the high standards of the rest of the hotel. Still highly recommended!

This hotel is truly fantastic! Even though it's not brand new, the quality of materials used is exceptional. Exploring the hotel feels like wandering through a museum, with every display piece having its own unique story. The garden maintenance is superb, and every detail is meticulously taken care of. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, even asking if you need more bottled water. They offer a shuttle boat to the BTS and ICONSIAM, and the route is similar to a river cruise, so you save on that expense 👍. A taxi from the airport to the hotel cost less than $400, and from the city center back, it was under $200. The breakfast was so delicious that I gained 1 kg in three days 🤣. There's a mall and a supermarket across the street for food and supplies. I highly recommend taking the gym classes; the yoga instructor was absolutely amazing. Amari Pattaya boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to Terminal 21 shopping mall. The facilities are comprehensive and clean. The swimming pool is thoughtfully divided into a kids' area, a splash zone, and an adult section, catering to all ages. Next to the pool, there's also a kids' playroom with staff on duty to supervise children for extended periods. Since our stay was during peak season, there were many guests, so we had to queue for breakfast during busy times. Even with the wait, the staff managed the arrangements very efficiently, and the waiting time wasn't too long. Additionally, the hotel features Prego, an Italian restaurant specializing in pasta, where children can sign up for a fun pizza-making activity. It's a delightful experience for both adults and children alike. Highly recommended!

1. I stayed for one night because I was attending a concert at Idea Live, which is near the hotel. I was really grateful that the front desk allowed me to check in before 11 AM that day. 2. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that the showerhead was quite old and didn't work very well; the water pressure was too strong, but the spray area was very small. 3. Getting to the hotel from BKK (Suvarnabhumi Airport) involved taking the Airport Rail Link for a few stops and then walking for about 15 minutes. However, that walk isn't the easiest, so it might be challenging if you have large luggage.

The room was quite spacious, and they thoughtfully added an extra bed. The balcony was great for drying clothes. My only minor complaint is that the duvet and sheets weren't perfectly white. The location is very convenient, offering a quiet retreat despite being in a bustling area. The buffet breakfast was decent, and the pool was fantastic!

Excellent service with warm welcomes and smiles across all the staff from the housekeeping to the doormen to the receptionists. Location was excellent whether its for Terminal 21, the BTS or countless cafes in the vicinity.

The hotel is located in the CBD. The staff saw I was traveling with a child and upgraded us to a larger room for free. Although it's in the city center, it's very quiet. The breakfast included Chinese-style dishes, and the service staff were warm and attentive. Be sure to try the spa! Banyan Tree's in-house essential oils are fantastic, and the therapists are very professional. I enjoyed a special package (90 minutes for around RMB 800, which also included afternoon tea on the 45th floor). The surrounding area is also very convenient. Just a heads-up: durians are not allowed back into the hotel! It's a good idea to download a translation app, as most of the hotel staff speak English and Thai... Fresh fruit was replenished daily in the room. Even though it's an older brand, it still stands strong, which shows that Banyan Tree definitely has its unique charm!!!

Perfect! I declare this the best hotel in Bangkok. I stayed for two nights, and everything from the lobby service, breakfast, public areas, to the room size was top-notch. The cookies were delicious, and the complimentary elephant toy was absolutely adorable!

I had a layover in Bangkok for one night, flying back the next evening. Centara Grand really has an excellent location; it's a 10-minute walk to the Erawan Shrine across the street, Central Department Store is right downstairs, and Big C is directly opposite. My legs were exhausted from all the walking! It's so convenient for dining and shopping. The lobby is on the 23rd floor. Upon check-in, we received a drink coupon for the rooftop bar for each person, which we used right away. However, children are only allowed on the 54th floor. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, but I found the taste to be just average. The bedding was very soft, making for a very comfortable sleep.

The service was excellent, and the staff's attitude was very good. I also tried the Chi massage, which was great and very clean. I highly recommend Chi. Some of the furnishings in the room were a bit old, and the electric kettle in the room was really old and felt dirty. There was also no coffee machine, which I don't expect from a five-star hotel. The internet connection wasn't very good, and the air conditioning in the room was too cold. During my stay, there was a large group of Indians, and it really ruined the Shangri-La experience for me.

First off, there's a major flaw with the hotel: it seems most rooms, except for corner ones, are connecting rooms. This results in terrible soundproofing. You can clearly hear if your neighbors speak even a little loudly. On the first night, I was woken up at 2 AM by the sounds of the couple next door. When I went to the front desk the next day to switch rooms, I was met with eye rolls and impatience. Then, the room change itself was a hassle with all sorts of procedures and time restrictions; I couldn't move to a new room until 2 PM, even though rooms were clearly available. My second issue is with the bathroom. The shower has no door or curtain to prevent water from splashing out. This means every time you take a shower, the bathroom floor will be completely flooded. Your towel will also be soaking wet. The sink design is also a disaster; water splashes out every time you turn on the faucet. My third and biggest issue is the absolutely, incredibly, exceptionally poor service. I specifically want to call out the young, slightly overweight female front desk staff with a ponytail. She gave me constant eye rolls and showed extreme impatience. I don't know what her problem was. When I was changing rooms, she was sighing and rolling her eyes, and she was giving me side-eye even when I was just checking in.

The location is great, very lively around here, though traffic can be a nightmare. Lots of convenient food options nearby too. It's about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, and they even serve Chinese breakfast.

I booked this place for two nights. I saw other reviews saying the accommodation was clean, but for me, the bathroom was quite dirty, as if the housekeeper hadn't cleaned it at all. There were stain marks on the walls and the sink was also stained. However, the duvet and bedsheets were quite clean. On the second night, the housekeeper forgot to provide towels, so I called reception to request some. But after a long wait, no one brought them up, so my partner had to go down to get them himself. The towels for the second night also had a musty smell. The swimming pool and gym were pretty decent for the price. I booked a room with breakfast, and the breakfast was fine. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service; they were very cheerful, especially a female staff member who took great care of us, and the male staff member who drove us to the main road was also very helpful. Overall, it was quite okay, but I have to deduct points for the cleanliness of the bathroom, as it seemed the housekeeper hadn't cleaned the walls at all.

I tried to check in at 1 PM, but I wasn't allowed to. I had to wait another hour, so I finally checked in at 2 PM. The front desk staff were chatting loudly among themselves. When it was finally time to check in, they asked for my passport again, even though I had already given it to them at 1 PM. The air conditioning wasn't very cool during the day; it felt a bit warm even after setting it to 18 degrees Celsius.

You can definitely tell that the hotel has some history to it, and unfortunately, its age is starting to show. There were noticeable stains on the curtains and bedsheets, as well as quite a bit of wear and tear on the furniture and amenities. The lift buttons also didn’t work very well and could be frustrating to use. The biggest concern for me, however, was the bathroom floor. I’m not sure if it was due to the material used, but the floor became extremely slippery once it got wet, which is difficult to avoid when using the shower. It felt like a potential safety issue and was ultimately the deal breaker for me. The location is also quite a distance from the nearest MRT station, so it may not be the most convenient option if you plan to rely heavily on public transport. On a positive note, the hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I genuinely appreciated their hospitality and assistance, and they were definitely one of the highlights of the experience. Unfortunately, despite the wonderful service from the staff, the overall condition of the hotel and the bathroom safety concern mean that I would likely choose to stay elsewhere on my next visit.
