This was my first trip to Cuba and I was a bit reluctant since everyone warned me about the ”terrible food”. Clearly these people have never been to the Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort!! The food selection was great and flavourful. I have travelled to various islands and on cruises and the food at this resort was equal or better than some of the places I visited. The staff was courteous and polite. My room was immaculate. This resort deserves the 5 star rating it has been given. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. I will be returning in the near future for a much longer stay.
